I sometimes have this problem too. I have 4 accounts and it happens in some but not in others. I’m not sure why. The colosseum will be done later today so I’ll see if it happens again and report back.
Sorry I deleted my earlier post. I had a mistake and forgot to hit edit and deleted it.
Is Tolzar’s Optical Oracle in your park? If the Oracle is present, you should be able to watch an ad after the Colosseum and in the Treasure section of the Market. Be aware, if you complete the Colosseum before Tolzar appears in your park, you will not be offered an ad for two gems. Also, if your game session is too long, the Colosseum ad won’t play. I explained this in the 'Colosseum' section of this post. A 'Tolzar Turned the Wrong Dial! Oops!' pop-up message used to appear, but now it just doesn’t offer the ad. I recently tested this and can verify there’s no 'Oops!' message anymore (I’ll update the linked post).
This may be why it can appear that the Oracle is not connected to the Colosseum or Market ads (or maybe it isn’t — ?). Players will complete the Colosseum before the Oracle shows and they’re not offered the ad, but the Oracle appears shortly afterwards so it seems they’re only missing the Colosseum ad and not Tolzar. Or their session will be too long, so no Colosseum ad is offered, but the Oracle is clearly in their park.
Depending on your device, it takes about a minute for Tolzar’s Optical Oracle to appear after you open your game. I have an iPad Pro with 6GB RAM and it used to take ~20 seconds for Tolzar to appear, now it takes over a minute (I used a stopwatch to check). My park has grown since the ~20 second days. It’s heavily decorated with lots of animation. If I store many of the animated decorations, Tolzar takes 45 seconds to appear. The more your park grows, the longer the wait.
If following the steps in the linked post doesn’t resolve the issue, I’d be interested in knowing. Because if Tolzar’s Oracle is in fact not associated with the Colosseum and Market ads, which it very well may not be, it would be good to receive confirmation on this. Just be sure Tolzar has appeared in your park before completing the Colosseum and ensure your session isn’t too long. Hope this helps!
Tolzar is there &working as well as usual (a crash or 2 looking for visions), now on my 3rd day with no video on Coliseum 😢

If you’re having problems watching ads due to crashes then the issue may be with your device not having enough RAM. Unfortunately, if this is the case, only upgrading your device will solve the problem. Were you able to follow the steps in the post I linked? I can’t tell from your reply if you had a chance to read and implement them or not.
I saw this the other day and looked back at my recent screenshots of the splash screen — the wordage about Hasbro was not there — so it was intentionally added a couple days ago. It appears Hasbro still holds the trademarks for DragonVale.
Oh my god, if you’re right and Hasbro makes more plush dragons, I will melt.
My game is in low resolution and this wording is not clear enough to be read - it is very fuzzy and indistinct even on an iPad.

TY so much! I saw what you wrote before my colosseum was done so I made sure Tolzar was in my park. It definitely takes longer than it use to for Tolzar to show up! My original park is big I have all the islands and dragons so Im pretty sure I wasn’t waiting until Tolzar was in my park since it takes so long now. I also didn’t know that I shouldn’t watch other ads and do other things before clicking on the colosseum. Sometimes I would notice the colosseum is done while I was playing for a while so I’d click on it and I wouldn’t get the ad. This time I waited until Tolzar was there and I didn’t watch other ads or do other things and I got the colosseum ad in all my parks that did this!! so I’m sure that was it.
While I was waiting for Tolzar to show up I looked at the store to see if the Treasure gem was there and it was not. When Tolzar showed I checked again and the gem was now there! I did this for 3 of my parks and all 3 only had the Treasure gem when Tolzar showed up and not before. On my 4th park I decided to click on the colosseum BEFORE Tolzar showed to see if that was really the reason why there was no ad. I clicked on the colosseum early and yep! there was no ad! So the Treasure ad and Tolzar and the colosseum ad all rely on each other and are in sync. I’ll keep testing this out and if something changes I’ll let y’all know but otherwise that was it that was the problem I wasn’t waiting for Tolzar to show and I was playing too long. I would not have guessed that was the problem in a million years!! TY TY!!! 🙏😊👍

Just a quick question to make sure I am understanding correctly... If I wanted to use Ts’aishen to help me get closer to having enough DC for another island before the expansion extravaganza ends, then what I should do is collect from habitats, run Kairos, and then activate Ts’aishen to collect from my habitats, correct?

Ts'aishen make collection from all habitats quicker if you have enough essence, instead of tapping every single habitat, you only tap on Ts'aishen once. Activating him doesn't generate more golds.
Yes, your collection sequencing is correct.
Some friends touch your heart in a way that you can never erase.
In case you haven’t noticed, the Lind clan sticks together like a herd of sheep. Where one goes, the others soon follow...especially when none of them managed to get the stoneshell Dragon while it was available or through mystery eggs. . By the way, I bet none of you can guess which is the chatterbox of the clan.

Activating Ts'aishen gets you a little more gold as goody on top. The percentage that is added depends on the level of Ts'aishen

Hi...have not caught up on everything yet, but to all my gifting friends....
I had a family emergency on Tuesday and wanted to apologize for not sending gifts the last 5 days! Everything is now well, but I have not had access to wifi and only a very weak cell signal.
While we normally don't spoil things here, I do recommend that players focus on getting a few extra of the following dragons soon: Monolith 3, 4, and 6 Stoneshell
Monolith's can be bred from any pairing of Monoliths, and Stoneshell isn't currently available and can only be cloned or received in a mystery egg.
Still can't figure out if this was an April Fools. Shows I've been gone too long - I can't even remember if I can remember what a Monolith dragon is

Thank you for your response! Your testing results were exactly what I found as well, which prompted me to write that initial post. Our experience is perhaps a little different from dragonmum’s, so it’s not conclusive if these measures will ensure the Colosseum ad will be offered. We’ll have to wait and see if more players have this problem. But I can say, for the past five months, with the exception of when Tolzar was removed from my park for several weeks due to an in-app purchase, these methods have resulted in my park receiving the Colosseum ad every single day. Thanks again for your informative reply!
Dragonmum, please contact Deca and let them know you’re having issues with the Colosseum. Did you make a recent in-app purchase? If you didn’t, the Colosseum ad was probably not intentional removed, so it’s likely an issue with your device or your game. If you did make a recent in-app purchase, I’d be very interested in knowing what Deca tells you. Thank you in advance for letting me know! Sorry I can’t be of more help.
PSA: if you’re planning on purchasing the 11th - 29th Islands and would like to take advantage of the Expansion Extravaganza’s free clearing, you will need to buy the islands in the next couple of hours to have enough time to summon them. Islands 11 - 29 take 2.5 days to summon.
Tip: need a little extra DC to afford more land? If your park is level 125 or higher, and you have some gems to spare, a super quick way to gain a decent amount of DC is by trading with gems. In the Treasure section of the Market, you can trade 50 gems for 'x' amount of DC — the conversion to DC depends on your park level. At Level 140, you can trade 50 gems for 1,118,101,000 DC. Level 125 will receive 776,063,500 DC.
Remember: if you’re late purchasing an island, you can always use Kairos to speed up the summoning process.

I always follow a different order. When I’m ready to run Kairos, I collect from Ts’aishen first, then I quickly activate Kairos. This way, I maximise the amount of DC and Etherium my park can earn. Since I have over 275 habitats, by the time I collect from each one individually, the first group of habitats have already earned a fair amount of DC/Etherium. However, if all my habitats have been emptied at once by Ts’aishen, I know Kairos is filling up zeroed out habitats to capacity. It’s also faster, because if habitats aren’t full before I activate Kairos, clicking on them to collect is extremely time-consuming. Whereas, after Kairos, everything is ready for collection and I can race through the Rift and Vale collecting like the wind.
I posted a PSA regarding the island sale and the Trade option in the Market. If you have 50 gems, Trade could be a better way to gain DC than using Kairos and Ts’aishen.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I haven’t made a recent purchase, the Colosseum gems were back yesterday, but gone again today even tho Tolzar was present. I’m running low resolution mode, however have a regular crash when I collect from all habitats & rift about half way through the rift, and sometimes when viewing ads. Not annoying enough to complain, I assume it is related to park size and memory and am not planning to replace my iPad anytime soon. Likewise the lack of Colosseum gems is annoying, but I have 5000+ so not huge - I really just wondered if DECA had removed them as Backflip tried to once (about 12 months or so ago, IIRC). Stay safe everyone - this is a 1st world problem compared to what else is going on out there.
Excellent wapatango , 😊 Now if a few of you brilliant minds could get together and similarly find a fix, preferably with dragons involved, for CoVid19; well, the world would be most grateful😈 Please and Thankyou 😈😈
Good health wishes to all 🌻
Especially for you Kiwichris and Buffy , but also in an effort to lighten the somber mood and to put a smile on people’s faces in the midst of these difficult circumstances the Lind Clan came up with the following silliness (we hope it will help and not hurt):
We mused over the problem of this terrible scourge for quite some time, and I think you will be surprised with our answer. As our gift to you, we have a brilliant fix for COVID-19 that we know you will love. Don’t scorn our advice. (Do you see the twinkle in our eyes?) Make sure you frequently use water with enough heat to make it steam and lots of bubbles. A layer of cotton to shield your mouth and nose is annoying, but it can help protect you. (If you desire to be elegant, you can use satin instead.)
Don’t sit inside a darkcave, subterraneanmine, or your house, all the time staring at glass screens, or you will become melancholy. Now that winter has passed, make sure you go out and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Spend some time in your garden and plantflower, pepper, and gourdseeds in the earth. As you watch for them to sprout, enjoy the tulips and daffadowndillies, which are already in bloom. Take time to remove the weeds, roots and all. If the blazingsun’sglare starts to bother you, sit in the shadow of a tree and enjoy the shininglight that filters through the treetop, striking each leaf. While there, you can daydream while you marvel at the dazzling beauty of the iridescentswallowtailbutterflies as they flutter amongst the dandelions and the clover collecting nectar.
If it is a day with enough wind, make a kite and let it soar. If it turns into a storm with lightningflashes, hail, and sonic booms of thunder, don’t be foolish and add a metal key to your kite string. (It doesn’t matter if the key is copper, brass, steel, chrome, silver, bronze, platinum or iron because you might get a surge of electricity and you are not shockproof.) If by chance, the storm should become a cyclone, dash to the nearest dungeon immediately. But if the cumulus clouds only bring rain, and a rainbow appears with its prism of colors, and if you believe the old celtic tales, take a hike to search for the pot of gold. If there is a doublerainbow, be sure to take a picture and share it with all of us.
If you have seasonal allergies, it might be best to avoid the roses and their thorns as well as a walk through the meadow. You should also avoid the pollen from begonias, cyclamen, daylilies, amaryllis, petunias, thistles, willows, conifers, evergreens, and the beautiful sakuras. It is best for you not to put a garland of flowers around your neck or pick a bouquet to put in a vase.
Is there a pond, swamp, or bog nearby? You can enjoy watching the dragonflies’ glimmerwingsshimmer. It will fill you with delight to see the firefliesflicker. You could also search for salamanders, but watch out for snappers. If the lotus are in bloom, it will be an even greater treat and the fresh air will do you good. If you find a wild orchid, we definitely want a picture. But watch where you are stepping. Be careful to avoid the oozingmud that traps you like quicksand.
Since some of our forum friends live in other parts of the world, you might be thinking that our advice is not faire because you don’t have those opportunities. Therefore, we have other advice for you.
If you live in the arctic, where icebergs are found along with permafrost and glaciers, or in any place where there is still ice and snow, why not enjoy a cozy fire? This will be especially helpful in warding off the icytorrent if a snowsquall of snowflakes, a flurry or a blizzard holds you icebound. So lay your logs in your fireplace and strike a spark to ignite the wood and set it blazing. (Just make sure you don’t start an inferno.) This will ward off the cold and you can enjoy the flames flickering, or should we say flickerflame, as the wood burns down to coals and embers. If the fire starts to smolder, add some more logs. Be careful not to scorch your hands or char your fingers as you remove the ashes and soot. At midnight, or just before dawn, if the sky is clear, and there has been a solarflare go out to search for the aurora borealis. You might even see a meteor or a comet. If you have a telescope, imagine all the galaxies and nebula you can see. Imagine how amazing it would be if you were to see a super nova! Treasure all the starlight and starshine. Just be careful you don’t stay out long enough to get frostbite.
If you are a rock hound, you can venture out to seek geodes, obsidian, pyrite, trilobite fossils, or quartz. You might even find a precious gem like diamond, sapphire, emerald, aquamarine, ruby, turquoise, opal, jade, amethyst or lapis to add to your loot.
If you live near a forest, take a hike through the woods. You can gather moss and search for lichen and fungus. You might even spot some nesting birds. Try to avoid the poisonivy, unless you really like misery, and don’t cause a ruckus if you have to fight your way through thickets of brambles. If you are out at dusk or late at night when the moon is luminous, you might hear the coyotes howl. (That always makes us quake with fear) But at midday when the radiantsun is overhead the hike should refresh your spirit. A word of warning to those who live in the Smokey Mountains: watch out for gathering wisps of fog. If it grows thick enough, it can seem like you are wandering in a vast abyss.
If you live by the ocean instead of near mountains or forests, you will have different opportunities for getting fresh air. Take a walk through the sand and search for conch, coral, and seaweed. Gather palm fronds and look for tidepools and wade in a lagoon. If it’s a really good day, you might even find an oyster with a pearl inside. Take time to build a sandcastle and dig a trench around it for a moat, but watch out for tempests and squalls.
Do you live in the plains or in the arid desert? Enjoy the cactus from a distance. Can you find a beardeddragon or a hooded cobra lurking in the sand? Can you find an oasis with water as crystal clear as a mirror? Don’t search too long or you could get sunstruck. That might lead you to be tricked by a mirage that things are back to normal. If a whirlwind starts a sandstorm, don’t try to prove your valor by staying outside. In doing so, you might end up getting shredded like paper
During this time it is best to avoid stores with their numerous people. (Lots of people say that fluorescent lights are bad for you anyway.) If you start to have nightmares, you might not want to keep current on the news with their oracles of apocalypse and omens and portents of doom. If it is your misfortune to get smitten with a fever and you feel the shivering ache in your bones, don’t quake with fury or give in to wrath or ire, but be filled with serenity. Stay put like a butterfly in a chrysalis in your warm and woolen blanket and dream of better days.
This pandemic may feel like it is surging toward you like a tidal wave, and you may feel like you are standing on the edge of a fissure, but if you follow these guidelines, I am sure you will have victory over this dread disease. It may feel like our imprisonment lasts for a century or an epoch, but one day we will be set at liberty. When that day comes, we will throw a festiveparty, ortreat you to a carnival, with bounteousfeasting and fireworksreminiscient of days gone by.
Now that we have flooded your psyche with a ruinousriver of motley instructions and scorched your spirit with charalatan advice and phantoms of faux enlightenment you may want to throw us in a crypt or abandon on us on a lonely plateau without internet and curse the fates that forged our intersecting paths. However, we hope that our silliness will not cause a rift to form between us. Instead, may these ghostlyspectres of edification and spritely directions herald a time of harmony soon to come.

Well done, Linds! I love the creativity and appreciate all the time your family took to put this together, it means a lot. Please consider writing a book. There are plenty of dragons left, and I’d love to see more chapters. Cheers!
Wouldn’t that be beautiful? I used the first week of our ‘imprisonment’ to finish the last half of a story I have been writing for a bunch of teens. When I started the series of stories 5 1/2 years ago, giving them a chapter every week for all those years, one of the teens requested that the story have dragons. In my story, each color of dragon had its own special abilities. One of my dragons, a small amber-colored dragon had the ability to give hope. It was very needed by my characters, and I know many of us could use it. I am thankful that although I don’t have a hope dragon I do have true hope. It is a blessing, indeed. I pray that all of my forum friends will have true hope.
