Very funny and true However not quite the answer I was looking for
Hi Sellia, I am a newbie also. Welcome..and thanks for the great entertainment! I was rolling yesterday ,I needed that. I used water and flower and nabbed 2 bouquets, but have had no luck with emerald as yet. Koalas to all... (carefully mittened and bootied first of course)
Happy Hatching to you ! I'm a Facebook user on an android....
I don't know where to post this question, so I hope no one minds that I'm posting it here. I just obtained an emerald and I'm wondering if I feed it if the fountain of youth will shrink it back down or if that's only for the "regular" dragons. Also, how much will a gemstone dragon make at level 10? Thanks in advance for any help you provide!

Hi Bearcat. This is a great place for these questions, so no worries! Congrats on the Emerald.
You can indeed put your Emerald in the fountain of youth to have it shrink back to a baby. This works for all gemstones.
All gemstones, when at level 10, earn 1 gem per week.

So are most people getting their Bouquets from a Flower and Water breeding combination? I've also read that Flower and Salamander is a good combo, some sites list it as a higher chance... I'm curious to know what is working for all you lucky people
I got one with Flower and Water on the EBI and the other with Flower and Swamp in the cave. You can also use Flower and Seaweed. koala!
Hi Friends! Hope you're having fun with all the great updates! I am, even though I'm just an old dude, who happens to be a DragonVale whacko. ;0) koala with all your adventures! I'm finally getting around to work on my baby dragon island. Way behind on that goal.

I've seen no real evidence that Flower + Salamander has any benefit.
All the following should be equal: Flower +
Water Coral Salamander Seaweed Swamp Bouquet
Any other Water hybrid would add some extra variables...

I love my vine dragon avatar created by ElektronX. Now, if only BFS would add it to the game...

Does level 15 really help when breeding rares, epics? Do they both need to be level 15 or above? So many questions, such a poor typist....lol
In my experience: NO! I'm playing 3 accounts (plus another just for gems). In 2 of them I didn't want to level the dragons up beyond lvl10 because of the orbs. The 3rd one has all dragons at lvl15-20. All 3 have all dragons + eggs at this point (i.e. I'm bored, breeding Rusts)
To my surprise one of my lvl10 accounts scores consistently before the other 2...I have no idea why. Whether I need 1 or 2 dragons plus display egg, it beats the others 9 out of 10 times.
Thanks for all the replies and advice on Bouquet breeding guys I will now stick to my Flower and Water combo and be persistent!
I have one with the right breeding time at the moment so I am hoping all the lovely Kolalas I have received will scare off the stinky, smelly swamp dragon and give me my lovely, sweet Bouquet
Mittened and bootied Koalas are always good as safety first, however it's probably not entirely necessary unless you have a slightly odd obsession with catapults... especially if you feel the urge to use them to transport small furry creatures. If this is the case I strongly suggest consulting with Artkat before proceeding.
Catapults are fun, everyone should have one. However, using them as transportation for living things is not advised- I found my Users Handbood, it's on page 3. I'm gonna go ahead and read the rest before I use it again.
I got my first Bouquet, switching to trying for a Solar Eclipse in my cave now. My 48 hour dragon is a Rainbow, so that's exciting. Still no sign of an Emerald in my ebi.
Dragons to breed: Clover, Sakura, Diamond, Peridot, SOly, GOly, Bronze and Silver SnOlys, DR, Malachite, and four light and dark hybrids.
Grats on you Bouquet and Rainbow Artkat! I am also very glad you found your handbood, rather important reading I suspect.
Still no Bouquet, Emerald or Spring for me yet.. But I am about to start building my own catapult and sending these rotten little Salamanders your way! mmm.. And maybe the odd Swamp.
May I suggest wet weather gear for catching purposes

Hello, children! There are always lessons to be learned in the Dragonvale community. The lesson for today is to always check out the breeding sandbox before throwing dragons into your cave willy-nilly. If one were to use the willy-nilly method, one would have been over excited about the Solar Eclipse dragon, would have thrown a Sun and a Lunar Eclipse together, and end up tying up one's EBI with a 48 hour fail. So, the moral for today is to always check the Breeding Sandbox!
Though in all honesty, I can't complain. I scored both a Bouquet and an Emerald this month, so I just need a Spring and a Solar Eclipse to have all of the currently available limited dragons...
GCID- peanutzmom:) And yes, you need to include the smiley face
I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!
Only 3 Participants left in the LAST CALL Bouquet competition. Anyone with pledged gems should send friend requests to these three! Come by the competition thread and encourage/taunt them to the finish line!
Well the whine has worked! I now have my Emerald egg breeding. Thanks for all the koala sent my way and may those of you still trying for their prized dragon have lots and lots of koala!

I guess I will try this whine whine whine method! So far no emerald, no luck with solar eclipse and would really like a second bouquet!! I feel so much pressure with three limited's right now! Argh, and whine!
