Yay! Finally have two blooms. So now that I have two of all the dragons, and my 6th island - I'll try make time this week to organize and decorate my messy islands. And then bug Fletch to help me get my gold shrines :-D
Hey Frenzzz, Happy news!! Out of frustation and thought to myself as the last try for Bloom, i tried switching Cactus/Storm and tried Storm13 x Cactus11 in the EBI.. Boom, my first 13 Hr breeding.. With happiness filled in my heart and my mind thinking about "speeding the breeding" to get a second 13 Hr selfishly, i used 13 gems to speed up the breeding and try the same combo again.. Boooom, second 13Hr on the EBI with the same combo Now, to continue for the Rainbow Hunt and the Shrine grind..
Congrats! Bet you are relieved to have pair complete.

I only see a rose? I like the idea of a diamond dragon. Perhaps a rare containing metal? Someone (cant for the life of me think who) was throwing around the idea of a gem dragon!!

Wouldn't we assume that we will get a rare metal dragon or one that actually earns some DC? As much as those habitats hold...they are just being wasted IMO right now....

I remember reading about that on Dragonvale Wikia, but I can't quite remember the link. I'm not sure it's there still.
I realise you're just passing on running rumours, I was just thinking about it It bothers me I can't seem to find any worthy plant/metal hybrids... Well I do know some plants, like Brussels sprouts, can absorb heavy metal contaminations out of the soil. Maybe that's a start...
Mmmm, I have not idea how to make a sprouts dragon look cool -.-

I just thought of a good reason to try and get our posts in the proper threads. As you recall, there were complaints in the old forum about too much social chatter. I imagine when people first come to a forum that they are motivated by the desire for information about....Dragonvale! The social may evolve over time, but for a newcomer it might seem like sitting down at the cool kids lunch table at a new high school.
The main objective? Let's keep the Dragonvale thread laser focused on discussion about Dragonvale.
If there's a lot of value there regarding tips, tricks, strategies, upgrades and the like, a first time visitor will be more inclined to stick around.
