Is the Apocolypse (dragon) sticking around? It's difficult to keep my priorities in line atm
In a word: No. From facebook:
The Apocalypse is upon us! Hatch the new Apocalypse Dragon before it's too late.
This ancient Mayan-themed dragon is available for players at level 17+ till sometime early next year... that is, if the world doesn't come to an end before then.
Goodluck getting it before it is gone (forever?)
I'm prioritizing the Apocalypse, Leap Year, and Blue Moon, since those are the three that won't be coming back during the next calendar year (outside of another catch 'em all event like this one).
Good deal, nice to know. I do have one already but I was wondering where the Apocalypse fit into the current breeding frenzy. I guess I can't leave it out. But having one, and one Leap Year, as well as my Blue Moon quota (during the original release), I guess I'm not doing too bad.
24 hours for Forge. 20 hours for Copper. 30 hours for Pear. In the standard breeding caves. Save 20% on that time in the upgraded caves.
Prediction: Since Fletch has let the Pear dragon slip, I guess it is only fair to let you all know the next dragon will be Peach, followed closely by green grape, pineapple and apple. A new habitat will be introduced to hold these new entries, it will be known as a fruit bowl.

I'm trying the whining method now in the hope that it changes my luck. I've been breeding nonstop for LY since it was released. I have both caves going now that my sun fail from apocalypse is out of the island. But no LY for me yet. It's starting to feel like I won't get this dragon until 2016.
Can anyone explain why the decoration "Vernal Fountain". Has a 0/25 limit? It's the only decoration that has a limit like that. I'm wondering if it does something special, that would make people want to have as many as possible of these, and thus a 25 limit is in place? Seeing the 0/25, makes me want to buy 25 of them, just in case there is a reason behind it. Anyway I thought I'd ask.

Thanks, Zanatar.
If you have 25 fountains you win Dragonvale! It's never been done before.

yup you should buy as many as you can before they disappear. I made that same mistake last time it was released.
The vernal fountain was the very first animated decoration object, at the time we thought that the limit was to prevent excesive band width usage endangering the servers. In the meantime there are many animated objects and the servers are ok so probably that limit has just stayed there as it was on the original layout when issued.

No, not the opposites! I wonder if they're still breedable, like back when they were hidden, or if they're currently unobtainable.
Bred a Dodo with my first attempt at Earth + Blazing, so you can still get them. They just marked them as Legacy so they don't appear in the Market Place.

Yea robo tron posted he successfully bred a Blue Fire in one of the other threads. Someone wrote they were unbreedable on the wiki but I guess only because they weren't in the marketplace
