It is just the 'obstacle' trees that you never cleared that turn blue. The ones you buy and place that were red stayed red. The yellow ones have become green for some reason. Hope that last one is a bug and they fix it.
I'm really enjoying the "winter park" - every time I look closer I realize another cute decoration is itself decorated. Plus, loving that the sun stones guy is spewing gold stars and arrows (or whatever those are!) from its caldron - I'd love that to keep happening. Also the astrovane. All the animations just are so fun
On the whiny side though - *really*?? over 12 MILLION! DC for the snow globe? Preettttyyyy pricey, in my book!
Back to happy: I have two Apocs now, and made one a turbo baby - SO cute!
Oh, and? Our Southern Hemisphere friends - you have *wonderful summer weather*! now - is it odd for you, or do you feel ok with the "winter park" version of DV? OR, more to the point, are your parks matching your actual climate? Inquiring minds, doncha know!
/cry... another rainbow fail while trying for leap year number two. That is two more days with no tries. And, Kairos is on cooldown for two more days.
On the bright side, I got the two Love dragons I wanted with leap year fails. Haven't even started on the apocalypse yet. They are around till the 9th, so still lots of time. And, I can always spend the gems I save for a pair if it comes to it, though I would prefer not to!
I am amazed with how my winter part looks. Kudos to Backflip. The detail in the decorating is awesome. The more I look at it the more I see, little Santas, elves and lots of fun. I am a watercolor artist as well as a glass worker and I really appreciate the detail. Happy holidays to all.

XD Mission accomplished. (And they both happened in my cave. My island is currently baking my only 48 hour fail. Go figure!)

I am LOVING the blue trees! Makes them look like there are more of them though...
And I decided to speed up one of my fails. (Decided the use of gems was worth it since there are SO many specials I want right now) and found out it was a Sun.
No Leap Years here (one of the things I'm looking for)
I've got 1 Paper and 2 Panlongs. Toying with trying Paper + Panlong and see what that gives me.
But what I want is Apocalypse. Leap Year. Fireworks.

Gave up (for now) on trying for the Butterfly Dragon after so many fails. Since I got my Leap Year, Apocalypse and Blue Moon (from the last time) pairs, I'm now focused on completing my Gemstone Dragon display eggs (still have five to go).
Okay, just getting my second leap year TOTALLY makes up for waking up with no voice this morning! I would say something like "Yipee!" Or whatever, but I think I'll just have to happy dance instead. XD Mission accomplished. (And they both happened in my cave. My island is currently baking my only 48 hour fail. Go figure!)

The Rainbow habitat is huge!
I'm cheering for Lion and his LYD and Tommy for his Paper.
EDIT: I see Lion has his.
Oh, and I just got my second LYD with Scorch + Lichen.
Was going to breed for Emerald as LYD would have been a fail, but figured I should get the LYD with the short fail times first. Now Emerald.
With all of these Limiteds having their set success rate, it will probably be harder to get regular dragons right now. lol
I have updated the Breeding Times thread with all the limiteds so you can check what you might be breeding. Please let me know if I have missed any of them.
I'm having zero problems failing with "regular" dragons. Been trying for a Blue Moon, but no luck.
Cheering for Fletch to get his long awaiting Emerald dragon.

All my once yellow trees are now that same drab green on the trees I cleared from the islands. I have only 2 colors of trees available - red and lots and lots of green.

Try Lichen + Magnetic for Blue Moon. I got two Blue Moons as fails trying for the Apocalypse.

I'd happily give you one of mine! I already had two of them, but my efforts for the Apocolypse and Love, has given me nothing BUT blue moons, so when the last two are hatched I shall have six!
But I do love the Christmas decorations and the snow - wonderful as we swelter in our summer heat. Even more than the snow though, I am thrilled with the new rainbow habitats. Love watching the rainbow and leapies glide around in between the back and foreground rainbows.
Has anyone purchased the fabulously expensive snow globe? and what does it do for all those shekels? It would have to have a changing winter scene in there for me to want to spend that much instead of feeding my guys to get crowns.

Personally, I'm used to my Christmases being the complete opposite of "traditional" ones (although I have immigrant friends who disagree). So my winter park looks very festive to me, despite my Christmases involving beaches, bbqs and lots and lots of sunshine.
That said, I'm looking forward to the Southern Hemisphere version of the seasonal dragon.
