Glitch or Prank?

We had quite a bit of excitement in our parks last night. Seems our games would error and close every time we tried to open the egg section of the Market.

And, what was up with the [[Motley]] goal that came and went with the glitching?

Did our wizards play an early prank on us?

Was it a glitch? Maybe a dragon that got released early by mistake?

What do you think?

I was totally sold out that this was a prank, until I dug a little deeper into the situation.

The prank/jester/Motley dragon released yesterday apparently had a coding issue of one too many pairs of brackets, causing the text identification to become bugged out. This led to the horrible crashing when opening up the marketplace with the broken connection not set in place. Thankfully it was a quick fix and removal upon BFS' part and may see it again near the first of April. In conclusion, I now must say that it was merely a glitch that BFS swiftly fixed.

I think the leaky faucet over at BFS leaked some more. Whether a prank or a yet-to-be-released dragon, BFS blew it again, letting the cat out of the bag.

In context, you can associate the word Motley with both "spring" (as in, the vibrant colors of spring)and "jester" (the jester's attire).

But I'm tempted to say that BFS is planning some kind of prank, but leaked it. So, there was a glitch setting up their prank.

We need a BOTH option

I think it was a glitch. I expect to see the motley dragon again later this week. Maybe today since, after all, it is Thursday.

I think motley was Spring in design *shrug*. So I vote glitch. I can't imagine BFS would prank us with something that would cause so much crashing.

I think the real April fools prank will be releasing a horribly ugly Diamond dragon. Before revealing its true beauty the next day. Like, a graphite dragon at first

Maybe it's was just a stuff up but such a coincidence that is was the April fools dragon that it happened on!

GOT IT! First time with Storm + Cactus on my Epic Island. Maybe my luck has changed after my frustrating month of chasing
The Aqua Dragon. Now to extend this koala (fingers/toes/eyes) to the rest of the newby dragons released this month.

I agree Mr. Webster, it is both a prank and glitch. And I Sir have successfully bred the Mötley Dragon a half hour ago (Storm + Cactus). Now why couldn't I have that luck on the Aquamarine right out of the gate? I think my dragons breed better towards the end of the month.

Hey Wapa! This morning I bred Storm + Cactus (on Epic Island) and GOT IT, first try! After waiting and breeding for that Aqua all month long I was due a newly released dragon right out of the gate. The Breeding Gods, or maybe I should say Myke's final Voodoo Gem to me, have touched my dragons.

Can't wait to see what breeding combo you use to get your Mötley. Keep us posted.

Having gotten two 48 hours out of 10 tries with storm & flower, I decided that I needed to revise my strategy. During the day, I am now using straight fire & plant since those are the shortest fails and we have no clue when this guy is leaving. Using that combo, I did get my first motley today. Hooray!! It has about 4 hours left thanks to Kairos. I still don't have any springs in my park, but hopefully I'll get one soon. I'd like to have at least one before diamond comes out.

I'm glad that you are having some success now after the difficult time you had with aqua.

I think motley is actually a prank. And he may well disappear from our parks on April 1st!
