As of 2/4/14, the ability to redeem codes has been removed form the game
The intention of this thread is to create a master list of redeemable DragonVale codes.
Please feel free to post here with any new ones as they are anounced or discovered. We will edit them into the OP as we go along to make everything easy to find.
If possible, please include what the code does once redeemed, the source of the code (Facebook, Twitter, in game anouncement, etc) as well as the date of the anouncement (since some codes may end up being limited time deals)

To redeem a code, all you have to do is tap on either the Options or Social tab, click the Redeem Code button and enter one of the codes below:

I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!
Maybe I'm just blind but for the life of me, I don't see the redeem code button being referenced. If anyone doesn't mind assisting me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

For what it's worth, I just created a brand new GCID and park to test. Both codes still work--I thought maybe the anniversary code wouldn't, since the park was started after the anniversary, but there was no issue.
I'd guess if either code had already been used or if there was a typo (like adding a space to 2years), there'd be an issue. My other thought would be if there was a problem with Android accounts only?

I just quickly went through the tutorial for a new park on Android. Afterwards I was able to enter both codes successfully.
The code 'dv117' works as of 11/02/13 and it gets you ten gems I think?
