With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post
and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On September 1st (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favourite thread. You'll have about a week to vote. So about the 7th of September we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. And now Crystals. The mods will give a gem and a crystal (if they're playing Gizmonauts) to both of the people that win the poll.

Okay it is the ninth of the month and NOBODY has thought there was a post worthy of a POTM?! What's up? I have seen some funny and witty posts as well as posts that have helped folks with their game. Remember the poster and the nominator win gems and maybe crystals from the A-team. For all you new folks don't be intimidated, just quote the post and say POTM. Some mod will come along and move it to the right spot.
Hahaha! You name your dragons like I name mine. I have a Spring dragon named Break. Summer is Vacation. Plasma is TenEighty. Smoke are Winston and Marlboro. Pepper is Salt Ann.
I have a friend who named his Oly dragons Nikon, Canon and Fuji.
But my favorite, BFS named for me. My first Love dragon hatched with the name Clapp. Seriously.
Changing the pairs does not truly change your chances. I always just use the same pair over and over and over and over and over. It is the persistence that gets the success not the changing of the breed pairs .
Simple and by the numbers: you want to use high level dragons with the correct element and with the highest DC/min value possible.
I can get into more detail if you need further explaination.

I can tell you what I do or what I might recommend, but the value of any setup varries depending on your playstyle and what dragons you have in your park...

This is one of the rarest dragons in the game, only available for three short days at a time. Would it be fair to release it in the middle of the week? While the children while away their hours at school, adults slave away at their jobs and I, yes I, torment myself with the arduous task of checking forums and Facebook and other websites full of words and pretty pictures! The Wizards are cruel, capricious beings. Almost as cruel and capricious and cruel as I! But not that cruel, for they are also bearded and wise... in their wisdom they would surely see the folly of a mid week release. The outcry would fill their inboxes with the badness to which I am now exposed.
Yes, it would make more sense if they release it on the weekend (weekend!)!
So, I predict we shall see the Blue Moon Dragon return by Friday (Friday) 8/23... or not at all... but hopefully the former...
