Wow! I am not the only one doing that. I do that so often. It is embarrassing sometimes. I also get annoyed when I get a phone call when I am in the middle of serious DV playing.

Okay, here's another: you know you're a hopeless DV addict when:
1. You've jumped several times into Last Call competitions (so far so normal); 2. So, you've accumulated quite a number of friends (good for you); 3. You visit them every single day and it extends into over an hour; 4. That said (and done), you start building a life around the loading times, washing your face, brushing your teeth, sorting the laundry... just to get over that sinking feeling you spend too much time at play. (Already you'd have been dating between epic eggs and going to the bathroom to check that they hatch, hitting the app after a furtive look around the office...)
Remember those virtual Japanese pets, the Tamagotchi? I remember the case of a player who "disintoxicated" herself by going off on an island holiday and leaving the thing behind with her mother. When she got back, the mother was hooked...

You know you're addicted when you had to erase the game cuz your first gen iPad couldn't keep up, only to go completely nuts when you get a new iPad and can play again! Plus you don't feel bad for how far behind you are LOL
