Welcome to you all, nekare, Ragesquid, alaskan, LynnMarie and caitlynh1231. As @euronewisle said, we are a welcoming group with members from all over the world, all ages, languages, occupations. In addition to sharing our love of Dragonvale, we get to know a little bit of life in other countries, & find that there are wonderful people everywhere. I don't post often, but check the forum almost daily, and have learned so much, mostly patience. I have also laughed & laughed (there are some really funny people here) & cried when someone has shared their struggles. LynnMarie, I am older than you, started playing DV in order to help my then 5 year old grandson. Of course, he stopped playing, but I was addicted to my dragons by then. Now he's 11, & wants me to play Pokemon with him, but Pokemon will never replace my dragons! Anyway, welcome!

I know! DragonVale is a drug, a good kind of drug! You take just the right amount of this drug and it leaves you perfectly happy and doesn't hurt you! And you can make friends!
Hi all ! My name is LynnMarie and I’m addicted to DragonVale !! My daughter got me hooked on the game 4 or 5 years ago, I think anyway, it has been a while. I remember I started just after the first Light and Dark event and before the first BEB. Daughter gave up long ago, but I’m still playing, EVERY DAY!! I play on my iPad mini via gamecenter, nonexistent as it is now ugh. I had the most difficult time a couple of weeks ago, lost more than half my friends from my social tab. Through the advice I found on another forum, I ended up digging out an old I4 phone that still had the gamecenter app and deleting 200+ friends to get my list down below 100. I understand this is the new GC limit. If anyone has any advice on this, please let me know. I hated to unfriend some of my Co-op friends, but had no choice to be able to return gifts. In my park, I’m on level 103, just got double xp from a quest, so on my way to 125! I have all dragons, including rifts. Yep breathing fire! But still missing a few of the Rift egg peds. I love the decorating part of the game. One of the reason I like it so much, though you probably couldn’t tell right now if you saw my park. A real shambles at the moment lol. About me, I’m 51 years young, happily married for 33 years (to the same man, 😉) and grandma to 1 and 3/4. (New grand baby due in March 💗) live in sunny, warm south Florida. See ya !

I’m 54, married to a wonderful man who supports my DV habit and actually started playing the game too as another way for us to connect, have two grown children, 30 and 19 years of age and am trying to wait (although not patiently, lol) for grandchildren! We are a three dog family (Springer Spaniel, Yorkie-Poo, and Cocka-Poo) and live in the state of Ohio (Go Bucks!). I’m pretty much retired, been everything from an airline employee to a church secretary, but the best job has been raising my family! Any tips on navigating and using this site is much appreciated!

Hey everyone, Karen here. I got hooked on Dragonvale about two years ago when my friend Mark introduced me to it, and have been gungho ever since. He's a completionist to the max. I'm a decorator, enjoying the color and design, and redesigning whenever the mood strikes me. In real life I'm 60, an artist, and love a variety of things from sighthounds (I currently have an afghan hound and a couple of Italian greyhounds), renaissance festivals (I'm volunteering at the Arizona renfaire with the Greyhounds of Fairhaven for two months), Dungeons and Dragons (playing since 1980), travel (I'm driving to Arizona which is 2500 miles away), and of course, creating art.

A bit delayed doing this since I joined over a year ago. Sorry, Im very very shy. 😊 I'm a geek at heart and love all kinds of electronics. My biggest joy is helping others. I've had various jobs including 10 years as a commercial driver, building FiOS equipment, building switches and panels for an aerospace company, and repairing computers (my absolute favorite!!). Now, I'm a "stay-at-home-daughter" looking after Mom who, unfortunately, has Alzheimer's disease and dementia. I have one son and two grandsons, 1 1/2 and 11. The oldest even plays DragonVale with me😃. I've been serving as a fill in moderator for a different DV forum. I found this one while researching questions asked in the other one. Thank you for all your help, not just here, but for the other forum as well. Don't worry, I give credit where credit is due and let them know when I was sharing info from here. Thank you for giving such warm welcomes to my friends from the other forum who have also joined here.

Don't mind the koalas, they are all harmless, nary a drop bear among them. Please, have a look around, and feel free to join in with anything you find. Questions, observations, discussions; any and all contributions are welcomed. Just take care with which dragon you use to toast marshmallows: Sulphur, Poison and Quicksilver are all notably bad ideas, and while a Glass dragon may make them pretty, they also make them significantly harder and pointier which does not help edibility much.

Well, judging from the available data and comparisons, (the amount of coffee spluttered across poor ole paddy, and whether I needed to wipe my eyes {I did}) one would have to conclude that you are indeed mastering the technique young grasshopper, and one is beginning to sense that ones tuition days are numbered 😈 I would POTM, however I am concerned that not only might you find it difficult to insert your consequently over-enlarged head through your jerseys for chilly days, it might explode with all the praise and warm applause and accolades received recently...and we need your brain! Not to mention your charming and helpful personality... a conundrum indeed well, if you promise to stick your head in the fridge from time to time, I'll chance it 😜 POTM!
