Oh my, those are very large, too aren't they? Saw some from the road in Montana, but have never seen them locally. Do people hunt for them there?
Yes. They do hunt them here. I live out in the country which is basically forest and farmland for dairy cows.
The coyotes hunt in packs at night, and make the scariest howls you can imagine. Almost like babies screaming. Very eerie.
We live out in the sticks, too and have the coyotes so know what you mean. Also have black bears and deer. The very best though is that we overlook an inlet where orcas feed!
Lol, have to say my hubby did mention he wondered if the peacock was good eats, in jest of course. Not to mention how valuable the feathers are.......perhaps some will fall off while visiting us.
I have never had peacock.. But wild turkey is great.... Both the drink and the bird

It is a beautiful sight, especially through binoculars. They just look like sea lions from up here.
in Liverpool (I see Tricia already answered but thought it would be rude if I didn't reply myself lol ) it rubbish as you can see lol behind those houses in the pic is another row of houses and then a field which backs onto a chemical site that makes medicines it always smells funny here haha x vicky x
Neat! You're most likely too young to remember...but I was 8 years old in 1964 when the Beatles arrived in America. Whenever us "Yanks" hear of Liverpool, it's what we associate with your neck of the woods.
Is this place still there?
oh yes I think they can't change it because of its association with the Beatles lol x
Speaking of backyards, this is what we found in ours' this morning. Anybody lose a peacock?
wow lol that's fab I'd love to wake up to one of those x
It really was amazing, was here visiting for over 5 hours. Is obviously someone's pet as it is not afraid of humans at all. We fed it sunflower seeds and named him Henry and then he left. Perhaps he will visit again one day.
The 48 hour I had was a rainbow! since then, i've bred 3 suns as well. I still don't have a moon or a Panlong. It looks like i may be breeding a Sakura (10 hour) and a Dodo (16 hours), but i will not know until I can confirm the eggs. My Game Center name is Sunshine992001 if you would like to add me. The more the merrier...
Congrats.
Moon is the same as breeding a Sun, but do it after 7pm or before 7am.

You have black bears, peacocks and orcas? I have no clue what part of town you live in.

Wow! That bird looks big. Where do you live? Is it wild?
It's a peacock. There are several families who raise them on the peninsula where we live, Washington State, USA. Guess this one got over the fence and came to visit for awhile. They can fly short distances, but there is a lot of forest between us and their home. Had to work pretty hard to get here.
