So here's some info about me:
I'm 33 and live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest about 20 mins north of Seattle. Never married, no kids, but one "fur-baby" aka- Simon, my cat. I bought my condo just before the housing maket skyrocketed and then crashed, so I'm sitting good. I've been workin for Safeway for 16 1/2 years and have been a Dairy department manager for the last 9 years or so. I was at one store since I started until about 18 months ago where I helped open a new store in north Seattle. It was just the change I needed!
I'm also an Independant Consultant for Close To My Heart, a scrapbooking and stamping supply company. I've been doing that for about 4 years now. Love their products! I teach card making classes twice a month with a lively group of ladies. I make tons of handmade items, mostly cards. I even sell them in a shop in the Fremont area of Seattle and online through a site called Zahoomi which is similar to Etsy. If you'd like the links to my websites to see my creations, let me know.
I'm also a member of 3 Masonic Orders: Eastern Star, Ladies Oriental Shrine, and Job's Daughters. The Job's Daughters is the Masonic girls youth group where I'm the adult leader of the group and help all the young members learn and grow in confidence, public speaking, project planning, and fun activities. I love it, but it takes up a lot of my free time.
In my "free" time, if I ever have some, I like to hang out with my close friends (who all have husbands and kids). I'm a big foodie too. Comes from one of my best friends, who used to live with me, who is a Sous Chef for Taste restaurant in Seattle. It's definately a nice bonus having a chef as a best friend! I love watching my favorite shows too: Hawaii 5-0, CSI Vegas, Survivor, New Girl, Tru Blood, and Game of Thrones.
Ok, I'm done blabbing about myself. Now I'm going to go through the forum and learn about all you fabulous people!

Is that normal weather in the UK. I always hear it is cold and raining there. Is that true?

in Liverpool (I see Tricia already answered but thought it would be rude if I didn't reply myself lol ) it rubbish as you can see lol behind those houses in the pic is another row of houses and then a field which backs onto a chemical site that makes medicines it always smells funny here haha x vicky x

yes its very true lol we do get some nice sun but not much ,it been raining for a few days now though x

Neat! You're most likely too young to remember...but I was 8 years old in 1964 when the Beatles arrived in America. Whenever us "Yanks" hear of Liverpool, it's what we associate with your neck of the woods.

The 48 hour I had was a rainbow! since then, i've bred 3 suns as well. I still don't have a moon or a Panlong. It looks like i may be breeding a Sakura (10 hour) and a Dodo (16 hours), but i will not know until I can confirm the eggs. My Game Center name is Sunshine992001 if you would like to add me. The more the merrier...

Oh my, those are very large, too aren't they? Saw some from the road in Montana, but have never seen them locally. Do people hunt for them there?

Lol, have to say my hubby did mention he wondered if the peacock was good eats, in jest of course. Not to mention how valuable the feathers are.......perhaps some will fall off while visiting us.
