With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post
and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On March 1st (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favorite thread. You'll have about a week to vote. So about the 7th of March we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The mods will pay the winners.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet. I've been playing DV since day one so I've got almost all upgrades and all dragons (the dang Hydra is still eluding me though) and lots of coins. As such, it isn't particularly valuable to me to spend gems speeding up my breeding (i.e. I don't need more cash or multiple attempts to breed limiteds). I've saved about 700 gems since the last event depleted me so I'm maximizing their value by buying two huge habitats and then selling them back. At 25 gems each with resale value of 10 gems, I can buy 2 huge habitats a day to get 40 ffs for a net expenditure of 30 gems. Nice little discount.
Also, while the google docs tracking sheet mentioned previously is cool, I found it more convenient to download a free Tally app with multiple counting categories to my phone. I have counting categories for eggs, habitats, food, gems, and friends that I just tap on my phone as I play on my iPad. With a final category where I store the starting ff bank value in the morning it's easy to keep track of where I haven't finished my full category collection throughout the day.

I'm just sorry you deleted everything before I gat a chance to get in on the action. I see tantalizing references to a great sequence, but the original is gone.
It's a tidal outflow of a small stream into the sea. Most commonly used on the Frisian coast. To find out more, read Riddle Of The Sands by Erskine Childiers. Literally it has a somewhat less savory meaning in the Frisian dialect.

That so made me laugh (especially considering some of the people I'm dealing with today) that I would like to nominate this as a POTM now that I have been educated as to a "gat".......
The high level dragons are supposed to give you a better chance at the RARE dragons. That means that the common ones must become harder to get (you have a 100% chance of getting a dragon. If Rare goes from 5% to 10% then Common must go from 95% to 90%). Crystal, as you have probably gathered by now is a COMMON dragon. To the best of my knowledge though no one has proved the assertion that rare dragons are easier to get with high level dragons. But would BFS lie to you?

Reminds me of the early days of Magic The gathering, when we thought Craw Wurm was such an awesome card -- because it was 6/4. And it turned out to be just a Common.

You should still be able to get bonus fireflies from stuff that doesn't have diminishing returns! I.e. gems, breeding, party hats.
At least that's how it worked during the previous events.

I shall have 20 Lotus by tomorrow, enough for an island of Lotus. Since Friday, I have bred 10 Lotus, and 2 Shimmer, and for some reason, they came in pairs.
I'm convinced that Lotus is a type of weed considering how many I've gotten in the span of a day.
While I nominated this, I think it only fair that if it wins, the winners' gems should go to Buffy and her unwitting patsy, Kyoji.
