I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that GregDarcy owes a lot of gems and lemmyloop doesn't owe any because I just got a 36 leathery on my first try. The bad news is...ummm, let me think a minute...that I might not get any gems. I think I'll have to go reread the pledges. Maybe I get some somehow. I was the first to go out, does that count for anything?
Edit: Actually, I got out before it officially even started. Surely that counts for something.
Whoa, I took the safe bet I guess! Not to worry though, I'm still keeping my original 1+1+1 as well. And 1 for you for getting me out of a messy payout!
Hey mario1, are you talking about missing the registration for the Last Call? You might want to sign up once the registration opens, since the competition will open very quickly after the announcement of the dragon's release. Sure, it's a bit of a risk signing up without knowing what type of dragon the competition will be for, but I think that's part of the gamble!

First try on the island: sun/moon/rainbow. First try on the cave: crystal. Not lucky at all.

Sorry I can't play since I'm on Android but popped open DV just before a meeting to see if anything was released and used LV 20 Mountain and LV 17 Firefly in the EBI, 1st try was a 7hr fail, 2nd try was a winner! Koala to all

I'm starting out with Firely + Mountain, and so far have a Firefly/Scorch going. Of course my Island is busy, since first thing this morning I got a 38hr breeding time for my first Sun Dragon.
Oh come on! I register for the contest, sleep a few hours, step out to get my teeth cleaned, and when I get back the contest is already started? Can't a guy catch his breath?
Ah well, off to the vale to pick a stud and a mare. Er, a sire and a dam? A stud and a stud? A dam stud? Does anybody know how gender works in dragons?
eta: Ha, in my Nursery right now: Summer, Geode, Hydra, and Daydream. Yeah I might be out of this thing pretty quick...

Checked my park at lunch and saw the announcement! I'm excited that all the anniversary dragons are released as I don't have any. So first try for leathery in the cave resulted in a score/firefly. I'm hopeful that I might be able to get all 3 dragons since so many people seem to be getting leathery quickly.
