Now that gourd is gone, I have returned to leathery & miasma to work on my bicentennial egg. Guess what I got on my second try!?

















Could someone other than Skitch, please remind me what the fee is for renewing my membership in the oly club. I know what he will tell me, but that doesn't make it true. Besides, I know he already has tons of gems because we have each been paying him one a day for quite a while now.

I've got you and the rest of the Ragnarokers in the "in arrears" column and my gem fortune is sadly growing only at the long-established daily-gem-buddy-gem-habitat-and-colosseum rate (though ceme was gifting me daily for a while for reasons I don't really understand [but that I greatly appreciated!]). Sigh. I just told my Leathery & Miasma dragons to try again after they produced a Mountain. I was so hopefully when I saw the 25h36m timer... then realized that Rag is 31h33m. Another snowy oly. Sigh.

When my final rainbow that I obtained while trying unsuccessfully for a second gourd finished on my island, I decided to double up on this again. Not feeling like pulling a second leathery out of hibernation, I decided to put nosferatu & shadow back to work, so that I could continue trying for a second dream. I just got a 40 gem speed-up. I was very excited that although I didn't get a ragnarok, at least I would finally have a second dream. I double-checked the sandbox to make sure dream was a 40 hour dragon. I was startled to see that it is a 50 hour dragon. I just got myself a ragnarok. I admit that I would be more overjoyed if this had happened before gourd left. However, I am still glad that I am done with this comp before BeB starts. I sure hope the next two come easier. This one took around 170 attempts (I'm not in my park at the moment to see the exact number.) I also hope the remaining contestants won't remain contestants much longer. I'm sure all of you are more than ready to have this dragon in your park.

Zarwid, my head wizard, finally figured out what GregDarcy had done and fixed it. It appears that my enemy not only has a job at the gem exchange station, but also at the ragnarok distribution center. The troublemaker had put a rerouting virus spell into the system so that any ragnaroks assigned to my park would get rerouted to his. I have to admit that it was a clever plan. We were frantically checking and searching the spells within my park for the problem. We didn't think to look outside... until he made a comment about having other jobs. That made us wonder. So we went looking, and thanks to Zarwid, we figured out what my arch-enemy had done. Hopefully, when we present proof to the authorities, he will lose his position there, so that I don't have any more trouble. However, I am wondering if I need to check the employee lists at the dream and daydream distribution centers too...

I moved my Snowy Bronze to the nursery and hit retry earlier today. Rebreeding resulted in a 28 hour timer. I'll be here at least a bit longer.

Thanks for letting me know to look for a FR. Unfortunately, GC says I have NO friends and no requests. I recently updated my OS... uhoh. The good news is that since I updated, I haven't had to log in to GC every time I go into a game. The bad news is I have no friends? Previous friends still show up in my DV game. Ah well. I'll try to debug this tonight.

It got to be hard, since you have been down this stressful long breeding spell before. Keep up the positive attitude, slight humor, and pound at it...you will breed one. GL

I hope that you get it before try 114. It took me 165 tries if I remember correctly. I'm still using leathery and miasma and have gotten an autumn, and two arctics in the last couple days.
