Sorry if it wasn't clear before, but we have decided to award second place to shotgunsalley, since it was after all our failure to detect her wrong breeding combination. So the OP is correct. I was hoping my second nightmare would come easy... Sadly, things seem to be going the same way as before with numerous long fails. This dragon is reminding me of the trouble I had with moonstruck. I am glad to hear that shotgunsalley snagged a second. |

I threw Abyss and Howl together once more just to try for an egg (haven't bred them again since getting my nightmare a week ago) and voila! The DV gods are smiling on me tonight. |

Phew, my last chance to try for my egg before the dragon goes away, and I got it. I am glad things evened out. First one took forever, second wasn't too bad, and third came on the third try. |
