There's 2 events going on right now: The Bring 'em Back event (all dragons are breedable), and the Season of Goodies (iceberries). They extended the Bring 'em Back, but iceberries will go away on schedule.
There's a countdown in the news tab of the social menu.
First thanks all of you for your generous help with the ice berries, if the event ends tomorrow, I will not make it. But gehts ok. Maybe I can get the 2nd snowflake next year.

And I find it interesting, that some get ice berries for the colosseum- I never got any... Weird...
The event ends on the 11th. It's the bring them back that is expanded up to the 18th.

I'm confused. As usual. The timer is saying 1 day and 8 hours left for double iceberries. If so, I will have made the Dragonsai Bush without any purchases. If not, I won't.
Also, will there like it was talked about earlier be a small bit of a day after the doubles or does the end of the doubles mark the end of the event?

If you can help it, don't accept gifts, don't visit other parks to tap on the party hats. Don't clear any obstacles if you have any, plant treats that take very long to grow, and don't bother looking for Sandakloz.
Hopefully, the berries you get from regular breeding and DC collection aren't enough to get you the second Winter Wonderland theme.

I'm definitely not visiting friends or accepting gifts! I did plant some dragonfruit, and I have no obstacles, so yay! I am a bit worried about gems though. I won't get enough berries from eggs and the coliseum, but I do still want to speed up some breedings. I'll just have to be careful, and probably put off collecting DC at all until this ends. I really, really don't want another theme. It kind of hurts my eyes, so I wouldn't use another one.
Sandy is going to be roaming my park endlessly until he's kicked out!
Glad that they extended BEB past the event... I don't need any limited dragons, but the limited decorations are greatly appreciated. I have to reorganize my treasure island and storage island (I've been putting it off for moths), and the way I'm doing everything, it's a huge help to still have the decorations in the market while I do it. I wasn't looking forward to reorganizing in the next day or so. Now I have a week . Also won't feel as chaotic if I get to do it AFTER the event ends.
For people trying to not collect too many berries as to not exceed those needed for an extra theme... I'm wondering... do you think that any gift gems uncollected will still give berries? For example, if I'm 20 away from an extra theme when the event ends, and I left an uncollected gem in my social menu... would I still get treats? Or would the gift berries be added to my main bucket, and give me the theme instead? Obviously we can't know yet, but I wanna see what your guys thoughts are.

Actually, that's a good point you've raised. It actually looks likely that BFS will just add the uncollected berry gifts to the total tally under the assumption that we're always working towards the next goal. In the Halloween event, when players emailed BFS to say they'd missed out on candies, BFS would definitely gift them the next reward they hadn't gotten. (That's kind of the reason why I didn't email them even though I'd missed out on some candies; I didn't want a 2nd Halloween Island theme...)

You may also have to avoid spending gems if it really comes down to it! Just take the extra week of BEB as consolation that you can continue trying for limited dragons after the event?

I feel like the fact that you must collect gift berries to use them, sort of signifies that you must collect them for them to count at the end. But I could see it going either way. If you got gifted past your limit, would unfriending the gifter make the gift dissapear? (Then they could be refriended after the event)

24 gifts in one day? pshhhh... it's not like I've gotten that many... I think... I mean... there's no way I'd be that cruel and have that many people gift me gems, who aren't consistently getting daily ones from me in return... all because an event made me worried about losing my completionism... heheh..........

Yay! After my morning sweep I got the Dragonsai Bush (with the help of Kairos and three gems). This is the first time I've gotten the final reward of an event (excluding repeating island themes) without paying, or being victim to a glitch.
