I want to get my mitts on it ASAP, but I'm scared that I'll make the island and the breeding cave disappear. Apparently that's what happened during the easter event if you finished early.

I don't think that's true regarding the Easter Event, but in this case the island definitely does not disappear after you have received all rewards.

About the easter event - I just checked the wiki, and it seems to back up what I remember.
Players that finished the Magic Egg Hunt by earning all the rewards from the event were not able to collect anymore magic eggs prior to the event officially ending, the Lost Island moved and the event ended 'earlier' for them.
That Path of Pedals...there's just something about red on blue that is uncomfortable on my eyes.
As far as decoration, the Path does not go w/ anything in the park. The combination of colors reminds me of the Obsidian dragon. We did ask for different paths, BFS delivered but they just missed the mark.
The Path of Petals does have a nice romantic ring to it.

With her being worth 20 roses, I think she's probably only going to appear once a day. Maybe twice, but I kinda doubt that.
Regardless, that would cut down on people stressing out over not being able to find her quickly since you have 24 hours to find her once, as ooposed to Sadndakloz who you had to find 6 times, at least two hours apart, over the same 24 hour period.
Breeding Aurora and Aurora in the Berrywhite Breeding Cave = 54 hrs, 20% discount in breeding time does not apply.
BBC is strictly for this event only since it is not listed as one of the rewards.
Probably, but... you will note that it has the little heart boundary marker around it's base like a proper, peaceable breeding cave/habitat. Those are out of the ordinary for a fixed decoration on an event island. They aren't really necessary if there's no plan to ever make it placeable
We also always get a reward decoration at the end of the event, though this time that may have something to do with the tree itself given the language of the event.
Not irrefutable evidence by any means, but worth considering.
i think you might be right, so far i´ve only been able to find her once a day, no matter how many/few times i´ve visited my park. i was starting to wonder if was the case for everyone, or just on my phone, since the santa clause wannabe from the x-mas event showed up several times during a day.

The path of petals look best with the dark island theme, round the dark habitats. Not so good with other island themes.

I think it might be because of that and because the main feedback BFS has been getting lately is that players want the double days to sync with the start of a new collection day due to different time zones.

I am sure Backflip Studios make most of their $$ on the final weekend, especially so if it is a doubler. Not sure they would risk some income by skipping a final double weekend (or Sunday or something).
