Does anyone know what will happen to any egg we may have incubating in the Berrywhite Breeding Cave when the Gathering of Roses ends and the event island and all that is on it is removed? It seems like it will be somewhat of a logistical challenge so I imagine BFS has a plan of sorts. Maybe all eggs will go to the nursery, but what if your nursery is full? Perhaps at the end of the event all eggs still incubating will be aborted? I doubt that though. That doesn't seem like a very good plan. Maybe the breeding cave stops working earlier than the event ends? Or maybe if your nursery is full it will temporarily will hold an extra egg?

You can breed a second Thorn right now by pairing it with a Plant dragon. Another good thing about it is that the only fail by high probability will be another Plant which only takes seconds to incubate.

A few people hypothesize that the egg will be "gifted" to you in the social menu a few posts back.
Anyone think BFS might do a one day deal and or doubles to end the event? It seems like they always make money at the end with the deals. Just a thought I had.

But not a single Thorn. When I last tried just after I got my first Thorn, I had a Thorn within five tries. And that was about what others were reporting.

A sun, a moon, a double rainbow and a dream! Wish we could have smaller epic habitats that hold more epics, I'm hoarding lots of them in storage. I don't mind buying a "display habitat" where I can put about 10 or so epics but the habitat doesn't generate DCs, hope BFS can come up with something like this in future!

There are also reports that this is now not working, 100 tries of Plant x Thorn only giving Plant.
That's a shame, but I'm only presuming that the quick plant x thorn breedings to generate a second thorn was unintended on BFS's part.
I started playing on an abandoned DV game (lvl29, now 30, used to be played by a family member) yesterday, sped through some breedings with spare gems and it was fantastic with the epic x epic breedings. Managed to get 10 new epics/limited dragons.

Except that having them so readily breedable made the second thorn as prize pretty meaningless. My suspicion is that making it breedable was an unintended consequence of the opposite breeding rules. And they have now fixed the glitch. I will be quite happy to see RECENT (today) evidence to the contrary.

So then, I'm glad that I have already bred my second Thorn in the scondary account. I , too, believe that it was a glitch that it was breddable.
