Any chance they'd give us double roses on the last day of the event? I've just finished collecting my roses for the day and my total as of this writing is 756. Omnitat is within reach but the daily cap is definitely short of what I need. Hope they give us double roses. Also, any help will be much appreciated.
Very close. You have a 120-cap-a-day on gift roses, remember. Budget the collecting.

I ran into this once. You didn't lose the gifted roses. They remained in my Social menu, ready to college the next day (Though the treats and gems associated became mine immediately) I meant to comment on this back then and forgot. it was very neat that Backflip handled this for you.
1. Roses collection reached their max for the day. I was able to collect gifted gems, but not the roses from rion and viola.
2. Timer resets at 11:00 PM, BFS time. I can now collect the roses and gems from other.
I got mine first attempt just 5 days ago. Not sure if this helps. There is no real reason for them to stop Thorn from being breed able.
Except that having them so readily breedable made the second thorn as prize pretty meaningless. My suspicion is that making it breedable was an unintended consequence of the opposite breeding rules. And they have now fixed the glitch. I will be quite happy to see RECENT (today) evidence to the contrary.
I agree. It meant I could take it easy as I never wanted the habitat
I really am starting to hate these events. They get on my nerves. They aren't special anymore. At first I got on and I though, " WOW! This is marvellous! It's going to be great fun!", but now I think, "And another one... And another one... Such a bother... Grrr"

I release my friends to gift others in need. I am less than 100 roses from the omnitat. I have gone through my list of friends to see who needs help. I found many forum members who are still on the 2nd Thorn, but within reach of the omnitat with help. My list includes: Debstoy, emandbuddy, gdan 73, Kevinjsausa, mishkasmom, nonnyd, Rainlover, shernea220, Shotgunsalley, stuzie24, and Winou. If I missed anyone, I am sorry. My gifts will go to helping as many as I can over the next few days. I'll see my regular gem partners after the event.
Thank you rulilind and everyone for the gem gifts. I hope my gifts were a help too.
I did get the omnitat, but I had to buy in for $3. If I had been a little more diligent on collecting the food......
Baking an Aurora in the BW Breeding Cave w/ about 41 hrs left. Looking forward to the end, what would happen? Whether the outcome is favorable or not, I am okay. So far, the Valentines event is stress free from the beginning to end. It's a nice and easy breeze.
On my part, this event, overall, is well balanced, so BRAVO! BFS.

Omnitat is too far off for me... I have 500 or so roses so that is it. Kinda bummed but I did get a 2nd kind of snowflake dragon with the extra cave so that is cool.

Definitely a laid back event compared to the previous ones. Since I finished early I thought it would be interesting to see how many roses I accumulated playing normally--three cycles later I have just over 300 (that's without farming for treats and without looking for Gardenia).
It would be extremely nice if BFS found a way to make these events doable without tracking. Wishful thinking I know.
BUT getting rid of diminishing returns on farming would be great ! Still wishful thinking?

BFS messed up on the last island and had the same obstacle positioned in the same square twice. Once I cleared one of the concurrently existing obstacles the game thinks the space is open even though it will also let me click on the obstacle to clear it again. I wish I had realized that in my own park before I cleared the second obstacle. I love being able to play around with them like that. The fact that the rock landed in the middle of the water just made it even funnier. And to make it even better, BFS didn't just mess up once. They did it in two different places. You can see the other messed up obstacle near the entrance portal in the picture with a snowflake egg sitting on the same square as the rock.

Woohoo, I just got the omnitat!! Wasn't expecting to, I only got second thorn on Friday evening. Thank you very much to all my gem buddies for sending all those roses :-)
