With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On February 1st (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favorite thread. You'll have about a week to vote. So about the 7th of March we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The mods will pay the winners.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit.

I think they are playing it smart by choosing T-Shirts to be their first physical item of merchandise.
Compared to other merchandise items it costs less money and would reach more demographics since almost everyone wears shirts whether it be over or under something or placed on a wall in a frame.
Maybe if this works out more merchandise will come in the future.
I'm hoping for a coffee mug - I'd like to have both my addictions together at the same time.....
Pledge: I decided to go as non-boring as i possibly could, so pay close attention.
I am going to pay gems to the winner, the two contestants immediately before the winner, and the ones who finish immediately before and after me. The amout of gems given to any specific contestant depends on the day of the month of the Gregorian calendar that the announcement of successful dragon breeding is published. For any day n, theamount of gems I will give shall from now on be defined as:
(φ(n)-1)/3
Rounded up to the nearest integer, and where φ(n) is Euler's Totient Function (that is, the cardinality of the set of natural numbers < n that do not have any factors in common with it). I will also give one extra gem if n is divisible by 4, except for the special cases 12 and 31 where I will give two extra gems, and 16 where I will give one less gem.
Tired of those candidates that always seem stuck in the past? Like the industries of the past supported by the Paper Dragon? Are you friendly to allergies that many people suffer, like those allergies caused by the Sakura dragon?
Are you ready for change??? Then VOTE SEASONAL DRAGON TODAY! A vote for the Seasonal Dragon is like a vote for Christmas! AND Easter! AND long summer vacations! AND Halloween too!!! All in one lovable, majestic, and caring dragon!! The Seasonal Dragon: A dragon for all of us.
Brought to you by the Seasonal for Dragon of the Year Committee
POTM!!!
I wholeheartedly agree with euroknuter! Just think about everyone suffering from allergies due to Sakura spreading her pollen around willy-nilly! And don't even get me started about all the trees that have to be slaughtered just to create just one - count 'em 1 - Paper dragon. Oh, the humanity! VOTE SEASONAL DRAGON NOW!
How about making rare event dragons, rifts, ovalith, monoliths etc. and rewards, like the relic of the epics, treatery, twilight tower, lost island etc. possible quest finds? Just for those who have already got Kairos... you could rotate them and have a month or so featuring one event's rewards (of course as we go forward with more and more events, it will become very difficult to get to them all).
POTM for being such an incredibly wonderful idea. I don't know if BFS will use the idea, but I hope they do.
This months winners are .NinjaKiwi. for his comedy and Rulilind for nominating said comedy. Gems will be sent by the Mods to thank you both for your service … to this community. :-)
gem or treat sent to each, plus a little bit of Star Dust... cuz that's just the way I role
