I've stopped recording several events ago. The only time I record is when growing treats since I like to do it all in one sitting. I do that by turning in whatever currency I have so my counter is at 0, and then growing Sarjin Peppers until I get 40. Same thing with gem spending. I used to keep track of my habitat earnings, but I eventually realized it was useless to me since even if I was short nearing the end of the day, there isn't anything I could do about it.
I, too, stopped recording several events ago. Too much work. I play more intentionally. But I just play.
Me too. I keep track of the macro level collecting in my head (i.e. complete each task associated with collecting stardust), and feel satisfied when I reach 280 in a day.

I will postpone sending my gifts to after the doubles start (or until we know there won't be any doubles at all tomorrow). If I usually send gifts to you, rest assured that I didn't forget and you'll get your gift, hopefully with double star dust. Perhaps some friends will send gifts to other people instead, returning gifts received. But I'll risk it, because I really want to help them as much as possible. I really hope we get doubles. And that this time the gifts are also doubled. Koala to us all.
Thanks for this post. Despite me reminding everyone yesterday, I was just about to send out gifts myself. lol
Sounds right - this is 5:30 pm in Germany which makes it a very long day to not touch DV..... I too am holding off on sending gems.
What!? It's 8:30 am here in Britain. Assuming you posted that an hour ago, drags, then it's 6:30 pm in Germany... But that means Germany is 10 hours ahead of Britain... And I thought Germany was only two or three hours ahead.
if you meant its 5:30 AM instead, that would make Germany behind Britain... Which is also incorrect.
i assume the only possible answer is that you posted that way over an hour ago, but it didn't actually post b cause you had connections problems...
anbody care are to explain...

Drags is talking about the time that doubles starts in her country. Not the time that it is currently.

Yes, I was talking about the time when a "new" BSF day starts and double stars might be expected. Sorry for the confusion.
Jamesvaler, Germany is 1 hour ahead of the UK.

So this is my first time tracking the double days spreadsheet style ... The doubles start and stop at different times to when magic resets, yes? So if it starts on a Friday and ends on a Monday we should really get 4 days of doubles, yes? Of a lot of the stardust anyway, if we're careful about it? Or am I thinking about this wrong?

Yes. There is ~10 hours between reset and the start of doubles. So everyone can have 4 days worth of collecting, but the difficulty of doing so may depend on the individuals time zone.

Yes, that is correct. For me, being in the Central European Summer time, the first day of doubles is a challenge because I can only start to collect towards late afternoon/early evening. Often not a convenient time for me. But on the other hand, I get almost a full day on the last day because the doubles end at the end of my day.

Thank you both.
I think I usually wake up to the doubles already started. It's Saturday morning for me, so I don't have a problem catching up then. Then on the last day, it resets Monday afternoon at 4pm. I can then collect double magic that evening till bed. I think that's how it usually works. Am going to amend my spreadsheet to give me 4 double days per weekend and see how much easier that makes it. It won't be strictly right, but it should be pretty close.
Wouldn't it be so amazingly cool if the large meteor in the corner is an incoming celestial habitat complex for Zodiac or other cosmic type dragons? Less like a Death Star, more like an Arc Star. Oh well, one can only wish, ... ... ... when you wish upon a star, .... (sigh)
A new island for a new type of dragon?! That is an absolute genius idea! POTM for that,
I cannot believe I didn't notice the decoration on the cloak and hat of the wizard in the loading screen before now. If we don't get constellation dragons at the end of this event I am going to be soooooooo disappointed.

Not fully double. There is no way to get 4 times colisseum finished in that time period. (Only exception might be if you stretch out the time by holding your DV open for some time. (I remeber reading that someone did this)

Yeah, if you're on point you can get 4 days of doubles... I included only 3 (or 6 rather anticipating 2 weekends) This is because I'd rather be surprised by having the extra boosts from doubles, rather than disappointed... such as when I collect everything before doubles start... I've been known to do that! On the spreadsheet the estimated amount of doubles is easily changed.
I've managed to hold back from collections so far! Hope there is doubles...
Am I the only person disappointed with the egg pedestals and paths being required prizes? I am disappointed that getting the paths last two times and now they are free to purchase in the market. And I can work to achieve the pedestal.

I'm pretty sure that people who didn't achieve the paths are not able to buy them at all

Yes, they should only show up in the market if you have them.
They are in the market because, if you don't have any paths anywhere in your park yet, you have to go to the market to "purchse" the first square of path. Then you can use the normal path edit mode.
