Whaaa, the meteor is getting nearer and nearer. It's clear that it will impact ! I have not enough place in the hibernation cave for all my dragons (In fact there is only little space for any more dragons )
I can imagine that when the event finishes the meteor will impact in the event island, not sure what that one will become afterwards. Maybe an island for celestial / horoscopal dragons or a portal to DV 2.0 or something else. Very sad that I will not be able to see it because events always finish when I have my Line Dancing.

Don't events always finish the next time you login? So if there is a animation you should be able to see it.
I've been in game when an event finished and all it was was a pop up like the one that greets you when you log in, and the event island disappeared. If they put some effort into this ending (which it looks like they have), I expect they will fix it to occur the next time you head in

Real life has been extremely busy for me, so I've been going through this event very slowly. I only have time to log in only once a day to collect the things that I need. I just got my first midnight dragon a few days ago, and I hope that I will still be on track to collect enough dust for the final prize.

I just got my first midnight dragon yesterday and according to my tracker I'll be able to get the final prize. It will be super close though. So you're good

I think there was an end animation for one of the events (firefly or magic egg hunt) and someone found a YouTube vid of it and shared it (I think it was Greg...)
I was getting annoyed searching for SD clusters too. Then I read a great tip. Fill up all the little nooks and crannies on your islands with bushes so that your guests can only appear in the front, visible portion of your islands. SD clusters are just like guests. Finding them now is very quick and easy.
I read that post and did this and now they are so much easier to find. A huge THANK YOU to the genius who originally posted that idea!

Got the first Midnight, and landed my first Monolith 3 or 4. Trying for an Arbour now, fingers crossed it comes quickly. Hoping everyone is still enjoying this event! It's just so serene and pretty!
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

Maybe don't feel quite as bad now. RL has been rather busy recently and I've only played briefly each evening, not really managed all stars any day I don't think. But I'm 130 or so from first dragon so sounds like there are others in a similar place.
I'm not too bothered by the final prize but would like to get both dragons, hopefully we'll get doubles next weekend and I'll actually get time to play!
Got the second Midnight dragon and copied what Crumble successfully did: I sent the two to breed. second try Bingo : 9.35.34 h on the timer. A third Midnight dragon. Thank you Crumble! First try was a short fail. So, give it a chance when you have two.

You arewelcome ! When I put my two Midnight dragons in the cave they produced a third one on the first try. It was only shortly after the joy about it that I realized that I didn't need an egg anymore, because it was one of the former rewards. I decided to keep it as a security third one (PPP)

The correct term is P5. I always follow the P5, but I don't clone, so I will have to wait until BEB when they give it a breeding combo. With the frequency of events, I may have to change my non-cloning policy. I could end up with quite a backlog on my P5's due to event reward dragons.

I got up and got into DV shortly before gems reset. I gave my gifts, only now everyone I gave gifts to yesterday is grayed out. I can't send them a gift. Used to be that you could force close and your friends would again be available to gift. That is not working. Anyone have any other suggestions? If not I apologize to all my regular friends.

Rulilind, I have had the same problem, with Game Centre not allowing me to send days worth of gifts from some of my gifting accounts. There is no pattern, it just occurs randomly :/ Also, had an absolute shocker today, as I forgot to click for my Collosseum AND Quest If we have 10 standard days left, I should just scrape in for the Weather Station. Hopefully we get some double days. Can't believe how silly I was!

I know I'm doing something wrong because I set up a spreadsheet. No way was I going to get the Weather Station without paying.
But figures aren't coming true and I'm always ahead of my calculations.
I know I'm one of those numerically-challenged persons, which is why I tend to spend early. This time around, I decided to hold off till I got a more concrete figure, but ... is it possible that's going to be ZERO? No way... but then, I'm numerically impaired...
