I know I'm doing something wrong because I set up a spreadsheet. No way was I going to get the Weather Station without paying.
But figures aren't coming true and I'm always ahead of my calculations.
I know I'm one of those numerically-challenged persons, which is why I tend to spend early. This time around, I decided to hold off till I got a more concrete figure, but ... is it possible that's going to be ZERO? No way... but then, I'm numerically impaired...
Sheesh, got to admit this part is exciting
Check your park, and I can't tell how close/far you are from the 2nd dragon.
If you want I can do a quick cal for you, I need:
1. 2nd Midnight dragon - how many SD have you collected so far?
Thanks Buffy. I'm a little past halfway to the 2nd Midnight (with Colosseum and treats still to go). I've calculated for 50 SD from friends (but maybe this is where I made a mistake. I don't count when I give/collect, but I give my full load of 7 gems and 3 treat packs).

That's the "problem" with this community, I keep making friends and gem buddies! I wan't to give to them all, over and over and over. And keeping track of something like that is really really tough
All things considered, I consider myself very luck to have that particular problem: So many new and existing friends!

It IS possible to get the last reward without money but it will be very tough. If you have about 750 to the second Midnight dragon you need all in all 3300 more SD. Without doubles that would be 472 per day. That's not possible. But I suspect that we will have doubles for the last weekend. This will mean doubles from late friday afternoon up to late monday afternoon for you. 3 days but 4 periods of SD. So you could get 4 double days except for the colosseum. 3300 / (7+ 4) = 300 (+ the missing fourth double colosseum) You have to collect 300 SD every day, and 600 on doubles. Hatch 40 Quest 20 Harvest treats 40 Collect DC 40 Find stars 30 Visit friends 10 Colosseum 25 Spend gems 40 (I suppose you have no obstacles left ?) ---- 245 So you would need 55 SD from gifts (which means 11 gifts)
Another thing to factor in is That there might be additional stars to find (like the easter eggs) But you also have to compensate on the missing double colosseum

I purchased Stardust and just got the second dragon with today's collecting.

No, not at all ! It is just the mad try to stop all that crashing by shortening the friends list. This time I unfriended a lot of people that I never would unfriend normally. So please forgive me, it's nothing personal !!!

Awe, you can borrow my wallet anytime Buffy! I may have over-spent, I didn't think we'd play as much as we did with the move and all. However, we each have our addictions! At least ours is (mostly) non-destructive

I normally spent from 1.99 - 4.99 (Easter Island was 9.99) for these events, except for the Valentine's event where I did not purchase any roses. The reason was that I can't give myself roses on Valentine's day, RL or not, it's odd! j/k.
I'm now at 1,881/2,250 to the first Midnight dragon. I have 5 very good friends who gift me almost daily--thank you friends! With their help I hope to collect enough SD for it. Real life has been getting in the way so progress has been slow so I reduced my goal to getting one dragon since it seems only one Midnight is needed to breed more. I never find more than 3 fallen stars or 2 visit-friend bonuses a day even when I play my game more than once a day. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. With these limitations, I hope one dragon is still within reach. Any advise or input is appreciated.
