Yes, but it may not be doubles until 9.5hrs after the next (not this coming) reset. That's what happened last time. Reset for me is 4pm Brisbane time, doubles tends to start at 1:30am.
I expect double ~35hrs from now.
Cool. That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure I didn't start collecting DC or something and miss out.
However, don't send gems when they reset next. Hold on to them because they will be worth double to everyone you send them to about 14 hours after you get them.

Meantime, the first Midnight is breeding with my Mono3, who still has to get a clone. I found out it was one way of getting a 20-hour breeding time with no suspense about whether it was STILL ANOTHER Mono4.
(Footnote: Mono3 was renamed "CR7", originally hatched "Lionel", but my immediate environment doesn't take to anyone named after anybody in Football Club Barcelona. Nothing personal, I actually love Barcelona. The city and the people, that is). (By way of other footnote, as soon as it was renamed, it was levelled to stardom by consensus. I should stop playing DV around other people).

I got the 2nd Midnight this morning--the egg is incubating now. Not sure if I'll get the Weather Station. Seems impossible to get 2520 bits of dust with 152 as of now and me heading on vacation on Saturday. I don't know how much Dragonvale I'll be playing while in Disney World. I hope the last weekend will be doubles so I have a shot.

With a double weekend, there's about 7 days left. 40 + 40 + 40 + 40 + 25 + 10 + 30 + 80 = 305 * 7 = 2135 + 200 = 2335
From my very rough estimates, it looks like I might not make it. Assuming they don't do something like increase the amount of stardust in our parks. I guess I'll find out for sure this weekend.

There's 7 actual days left, so including the doubles it's closer to 11. Well 10.5 If you need 2335 then it's only 233 a day, 466 on doubles. Easily done.

Given that doubles are all but certain to start tomorrow morning BFS time, and given that my brain disengages allowing my finger to send gifts on autopilot whenever they have reset, I have proactively moved DragonVale from my home screen to a folder. Hopefully the necessity of digging around to feed my DV habit will remind me to HOLD OFF GIFTING UNTIL TOMORROW!

Yes, according to Sandbox. The combo has 18 possible fails that include Rainbow and DR, but Mono4 is not one of them. The rest are interesting: not too time-intensive, high-yielding when sold, and include the possibility of breeding a third Midnight.

I have a post-it on the screenside lectern telling me tomorrow is my day to be workaholic and make up for all the time lost with virtual dragons.

Do you think this rule is still valid even after the event ended? Do we have evidence either way? Although the only evidence would be if someone actually had done it. The opposite may only be lack of koala.

Closing in on 2nd Midnight.
Will trrryyyy to hold off sending gifts until tomorrow after doubles (fingers crossed they do) start. Hopefully will not go on auto-pilot before bedtime and do usual sweep/send.
I'm so frustrated! I tried to send gifts last night, but the game crashed. I thought I'd do it this morning. I got one out, and then the game crashed... and I never could get back to it today. I'm sorry to my friends! Now I'm waiting in hopes of double magic. Luckily tomorrow afternoon will have some down time and I can play.

Work has really got in the way on this one. Just about worst time for a competition. Have just got second dragon so hoping for a double weekend and even then going to struggle for final reward. Gem buddies - will be holding off giving gems to allow double benefit (fingers crossed). Fletch please don't even think there might be another competition!!!! On the positive my Dream Dragon collection is growing nicely

The weather station is going to be a close thing for me, I had more than my fair share of 24 hour quests and didn't spend gems regularly enough. Going to have to be vigilant this weekend, but I think I should make it!
