"It's raining, it's pouring, my dragons are snoring!" So happy to get the WS & set it to rain! Think i will be doing that often! A HUGE thank you to my very wonderful gem buddies!!! :0) ...i certainly would not have made it without you !! (What a wonderful boost to wake-up to +20 SD AND food this morning from thelemurr, vonfirmath, & tspring! It was so nice of you!...wish i had the treatery so i could return the kind favor :0) ) My financial investment this event was $9.99 for SD during the first doubles weekend... And even with wonderful support from 6 very faithful gem buddies AND very active play on my part (don't know how people manage it that have full-time jobs & young busy families!)... i just squeaked in to obtain that last prize... I too would enjoy a respite from the almost continuous events ..one of the things i enjoyed the most about DV was the relaxed gameplay it allowed... Love the game, love the gorgeous dragons & graphics, love working toward completion of my goals w/o any sense of pressure to finish (love BEB), love touring friends' islands & am continually astounded & amazed at the talent, skill & artistry displayed in them... ... stop by anytime (make sure you wear your slicker & have your brolly/bumbershoot :0) ) .... my dragons & i will be curled up by the fire w/a 'cuppa reading a great golden-age mystery :0) Thanks again faithful gem buddies! :0)
Woohoo! Achieved the weather station ahead of schedule thanks to several of you generous people tossing extra gifts my way! Yet another demonstration of what sets this community apart! Please be sure to send the next round to others who may still be behind.

Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless gas, which if left alone in large enough quantities, for long enough, will begin to think about itself.
Just a reminder double stardust until 16:30:00 UTC on May the fourth.
The event ends one day later at 16:30:00 UTC on the fifth of May.
Wha-aat? Another recalculation? Ye gadz, my mathematically-challenged mind... blup!
I'm pathetic at maths, but this brings my 5-euro budget down to 2. Er... I think.
So many think they are bad at math when in reality they suffer from dyscalculia, otherwise known as math dyslexia. One in twenty people on Earth have it with mild to severe symptoms (so says the World Health Organization). Most can end up being accomplished in math if they are given more time to solve the problems; however, modern education is not very accomodating. Instead students are made to feel stupid when in reality they are not and many times have above average intelligence. Google dyscalculia - one tip off that you have it is if you had a difficult time learning to read an analog clock.

Interesting. My math agility is certainly not what it used to be. I wonder if my aging "CPU" is suffering from dyscalcumentia. It's about this era
Oh well at least I got the weather station this morning. (not last night because I missed Colisseum SAturday night. went to bed and forgot I hadn't cleared it yet)
ETA: Well... it appears I am still receiving doubles although doubles are not showing in the marketplace. Odd.

Hi,
Gratz! in getting the tower. So great to read your post
In a nut shell...
- I have 10 dedicated gem buddies; they got my back from day one. Out of the 10, friendship of 3 took shape (1 is an active member of this forum, 2 are lurkers) the very first date I joined DV comm which was around June ??, 2013. 2 years later....Such dedication, and loyalty.
- I play DV on my iPhone which is quite convenience. I can go in/out of the game in 2 mins
- I just "ignore" my family for a short period of time, few times a day, and mostly on weekdays. But on the weekend I am 96% wholeheartedly theirs.
Some friends touch your heart in a way that you can never erase.
Great, Cyn! I just officially won another disease. Amazing what names can do.
Anyways... I bought into SD for € 1. Why? Maybe I want to play safe. Maybe I feel BFS deserves it for the exciting ride this has been. Don't call it payback, I feel I've already done that. A tip, maybe. But it's not just drinks on the house so others can keep playing -- rather, I want to assure all my friends that they can stop having heart attacks because of my -- what did you call it? -- dyscalculia. (Another word popped into the bag.)
I'm not that bad, actually. I once had this Italian flatmate living in Spanish pesetas before the euro currency transition, kept thinking in lira and spent almost half our rent impulse-buying a sweater. We were picking salads off the city flower boxes for a month. Thank God she was good at cooking herbs.
I will get the weather station in both my parks today, so my gem/food friends should send gems/food to someone that still needs stardust for the event if you can.
Phew, I used a lot more gems and obstacles than I had hoped to, but I made it.

The event ended for me at precisely 12:30 Eastern (US), which is entirely consistent with the Help information from Day One of this event, but is inconsistent with the event timer on the News tab of Social still shows, basically, 24 hours left.
If this happened to anyone who had not already earned the Weather Station, I think there will be a number of complaints headed BFS's way.
The event ended for me, I got some treats, but no breeding cave, though it was mentioned.

Really happy with my gorgeous avatar by ElektronX! GCID: Andr3i4 Any and all friends for Cooperative Breeding are welcome. Gladly accepting any twins also.
BFS did it again. I just went into one of my parks, and got the message that the event ended. Something about a new breeding cave.
Did you get a new breeding cave? I was so confused that I forgot to take a screenshot of the screen to see what it said. Something about some parts of the star falling in the park and forming a new breeding cave.

Can someone post the exact message that everyone got today? Sounds like some crazy new stuff is coming.
I should have taken a screenshot, but I didn't think properly. I was so shocked. At least I had already gotten my Weather Station. I sent an email to BFS support complaining about it, even though they surely know about it.

I also got the new breeding cave message and a countdown timer that says the event ends in 24 hours although everything seems to have ended. I wonder if its extended for those that didn't get the weather station. Hope the breeding cave comes....and they add a couple spots in the hatchery.
