Will draw my line in the sand with the game if all the dragons start wielding light sabers.
I can totally understand your feelings on this one, but I did think of one positive about light-saber wielding dragons... Since their fire-breathing isn't enough to protect from being on GregDarcy's dinner table, maybe light-sabers would.

I was off for the weekend (although certainly I was playing, just not enough devices to be comfortably on the forum as well). In sum, I miscalculated (included May the 4th) and I'm not going to make it free -- but on the other hand, the purchase will be small, definitely not what I thought I'd need. And here's where I really have to thank all you guys for the amazing support I've received. I'm particularly touched by the whole tribe of LINDs, for indeed the family that plays together... (well, you know how that ends)

On behalf of the LINDs, you are very welcome. We all either have it, or will get it shortly, so we have been giving the gifts we usually give to each other to someone who still needs the Star Dust.

This event has been harder than the previous ones. It's being more difficult for people to get all the rewards, that's for sure. And though I like the events in general, I think it gets kind of stressing, with the added pressure to get all the rewards, because I don't want to miss on anything. I'm glad that you got a lot of help and that things won't be as bad as you had imagined. Koala.

I sure miss actually BREEDING for the dragons. I hope that the new dragon that had been announced comes soon. Or that the end of the event brings us some new feature, like a new type of dragon or something. I will be very disappointed if something new doesn't happen soon.

I would very much prefer some time of DV play without any event. I know it is my own decision to go for the last prize - but hey, this game for me is all about completion. So I feel a bit forced to do my best to get them all. I don't like that tedious harvesting of food. I don't like to take a lot of care for the time the colosseum finishes. I normally don't visit friends parks daily because I don't like to wait minutes for them to load. I don't like that the game is much slower and crashes much more often. And the worst : I miss breeding for a new dragon ! The tedoius collecting of magic eggs or fireflies or SD is so much worse than the thrill of putting a pair in the cave and checking the breeding time.
This! Definitely this! I believe both my account and my dad's old account crash an average of 7 times a day. (Actually, I'm pretty sure the average is more like 10 times a day each, but I've always liked the number 7...). Giving gifts is incredibly painful, and I don't visit friends parks anymore, even though I really enjoyed looking at them. Even if I didn't choose to go for event prizes, I am forced to deal with the event issues, unless I want to stop playing DV during events. Considering how often we have events and how long they last... Well, that would mean no more DV.
I also miss having new dragons to go for. Hopefully, we are about to get some...and an event break.

I don't know why the game crashes for some people. For me it's ok, even during the events. My list of friends is long, but I can gift or visit without problems. But I hope they find a way to keep the game running smoothly for everybody. It's awful to play something when the game keeps crashing like this. Koala.

Well. I think that dilldog doesn't really need a poll. I'm pretty sure that there are more people who want a break than not. And I'm one. Even if I don't enjoy them and other people do, almost everyone agrees that it's too much too quickly. Hoping for some brief respite after this, but not raising my hopes too high....

I think part of the problem comes when you are trying to send gifts at the same time as your friends are trying to give you gifts.
I do not understand why my friends do not know when I am trying to give gifts and hold off on theirs for a few minutes! I mean, seriously, shouldn't they be able to sense that it is a bad time to be generous? Some people cause so much trouble!
On a good note, my dad's park didn't even crash once while giving gifts tonight. It helps that I am receiving very few gifts, but it isn't the whole solution, because that has always been true, and it still usually crashes multiple times.

Here in the uk the timer will end nearer the end of may 5th ie a day later than originally stated ? I would also like to add my support to dilldog calling for a poll on the number of events. All the best to everyone who needs one last final push to achieve their targets.

100% rely on the in game timer set by BFS. BFS has stated that the event will last through May 4th, Colorado time and it actually ends in the morning of May 5th, Colorado time to account for all the time differences.
Done with this event! As soon as I could afford the second dragon I stopped collecting. I immediately put some dragon fruit on just to show my rebellious nature! Hope everyone else achieves their aim too

I can't believe it! I did the grind for today and I'm 232 SD away myself! (Still no expense).
My worst-case scenario for tomorrow is 205 SD. Think I'd better buy in now while the numbers are ahead? (I wouldn't be this fuzzy if I hadn't overspent two events past...)
Edit: Nope, I got it wrong again. Forgot the Dragon Cash! Worst case scenario is, I'll probably make it! Whew, this is exciting!
