With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On the 1st of next month (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favorite thread. You'll have about a week to vote. So about the 7th of next month we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The mods will pay the winners.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit.

Sounds like the missing hokey pokey verse, it's all good being in or out as long as you shake it all about...
Since this is a seasonal or limited time epic, will a new Last Call be started? BFS always has some surprises and they happen when we get used to the new normal.

A Fabulously Gay Idea for a Legendary dragon. Once a week, you can send a dragon you don't want to one of your friends. BFS is trying to make DV more of a community, and they want us to reach out to the newest players, so I think it would be great, especially if you could send it as an egg, so it wouldn't clog up your own nursery.
I would actually be very happy to be able to send you one. I already had 5 Dream dragons, so unless I decide to sell one, I will now have 7. I just spent the 150,000,000 DC to upgrade my last Dream habitat.
Trying to space out the long dragons in my nursery, I decided to speed up the Dream fails in my CBC. Breeding Antarian and Elysium gave me my Antarian egg. How nice not to have bred a 28+ hour dragon!
POTM - like the idea.
And yes, according to the sandbox, Arcturian is the best to breed an Elysium with, followed by monolith 1 and Antarian.

I've been thinking of a wormhole scenario. Anyway, Galaxies can cross the multiverse, right? Eggshell shipping, it would seem. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could rebundle twins off to people who still need them? Even paying a small gem shipping fee...
(Hope the people in BFS are listening. Interactive commerce really can be a money-making opportunity After all, how many Valers would rather receive a dragon or an egg than a greeting card?)

Now to explain the symbolism on my Family Tree Island. To start off with, I'll mention the Winter Wonderland theme. My family has always had lots of fun outside playing in the snow. Also, where we live, the national forest and mountains behind our house are beautiful covered with snow. The house is important, because the house I have lived in for more than 20 years, is my great-grandfather's house (doesn't look at all like that one). The Snowy Trees represent the Christmas tree farm we lived on. Now for the dragons, I crowned the Bouquet and Bearded last August in honor of my parents. They had both died in August in the last decade. The baby Bouquet and Bearded represent my husband and myself as do the two Bed of Roses in the front. The Seasonal Dragons are for our 5 sons and 3 daughters as are the family footprints. The Sprouts do indeed represent the many grandchildren. I only wish I got to see them more often. jamesvaler was correct, the two baby Cottons represent the two grandchildren who will be joining our family in the next few months. I will be sending both EuroKnuter and jamesvaler a gem for guessing.
POTM. Beautiful. The trees i never would have guessed. But the whole island was so well tied together that it almost made me cry! And thanks for the gem!

We hatched our first twin (a frostbite ) and management informed me that we are now to get all of them. Every. Last. One. And with that, I am now behind and will have to work nights and weekends - but I do so love my park's management =)

Cyn and James, that is the current rule number being used by the game. Every time BFS changes something, like adds a gem sale, they release a new rule set. 1427 is the current one.
Will collect them all until I'm busting at the seams. I don't think BFS would introduce them just to have us replace the Dragons and Eggs we already have. BORING! I think it is more likely to be what I posted on the Galaxy thread:
So I was staring at the three new Galaxies that BFS calls Islands which do not behave like Islands. You can't decorate them, you can't add a Theme, and there is no Portal for the wee Witches and Wizards to access the darn things. The only other Islands with those qualities have been Event Islands that have always disappeared. Then it occured to me that between the five new Galaxy Dragons all ten Dragonvale Elements are represented. There being five spots on each Island, what if at some point having one of each of the new dragons in there unlocked it and spun it off into another park that you access from your first park? You then use your five Dragons representing the ten Elements to breed and fill another park. Kind of like my dimensions idea but Galaxies instead. Won't this be fun!?!
And maybe, just maybe the Twins that you acquire are the only Dragons that can be transported to your newly created park without having to breed them from scratch with your Galaxy Dragons. I'm not giving up a one until we're sure.

it is a solid theory to say the least, and it would be very cool. In my dream world (NO, not my dream dragon's world, nor my daydream's world) they would make a new park which was solely (how D'yu spell that word? Grammer (I'm english...) Borg?) based off of space. So dark matter dragon, antimatter dragon, binary dragon, quasar dragon, red giant dragon, red supergiant dragon, wormhole dragon, black hole dragon, dark energy dragon, quark dragon and the list goes on! One can dream...
