oldsmol, Nominations are collected in a single thread during the month. At the end of the month, or when the slacker mod gets round to it, the thread is converted into a poll. This is announced in several of the more popular threads. Each interested person then looks them over and votes in the POTM thread. After a couple of weeks, the thread is closed, the votes tallied and the winner is announced.
I know I saw the announcement, but it can be easy to miss if you don't visit often.

I saw the thread. I visited several times a day. I didn't see any votes. It could have happened the last day ... I didn't dare to ask during the voting, because of the several nominations on me. Perhaps it's the nominator who gets the votes? ☺️

oldsmol, my dear frenemy Buffy is pointing you to where to look. What you are looking for is a 'check box' that will be in front of the bars where you can click and your vote is cast. This can be changed at any time until the poll closes, at which time the checkboxes go away.
You can look at the Billionairs Club poll and you should see these check boxes at the top since the poll is still open.

Could it be I only se this on an Ipad? Never seen any checkboxes, which I suppose are squares/boxes where you can write an x .....
You can only see the checkboxes on the left side of the page when you are signed in to your Forum account. If you look at the poll on the first page of the POTM thread and are not signed in you will see the poll but the boxes are not available for checking.

It could be the app that's unable to display the polls, so try out Safari if you're using the forum app. If you can use a computer to visit the forums, you can take a look at what the polls look like. And refer to Buffy's post above to go to a poll that's still open to see if you can vote in it!
This is what I see when I follow Buffy's link. The poll is clearly there. Ipad3 running safari

Yup, I use Tapatalk on my phone, just got Tapatalk loaded on my iPad; been using the old ProBoards app that still works on my iPad presumably because I haven't updated iOS. I really like the "views" that shows all unread, or all that I have subscribed to. Can still navigate to subforums (how quaint). Then to see certain layouts I use their Web View. I do have a hard time with signatures and various instructions that don't work outside browser.
One of the more confusing things is which user name or display name is shown. I would see the user as "vp" and everyone is referring to "cyn" and I would wonder what the heck?
