Please guide me to the list of best DC earning dragons with no boost. I know there is a post / thread somewhere that talks about this but cannot find it - sorry.
This post lists the highest DC earning dragons without a boost. If you are looking to create a DC farm, the first dragons on the list may not be the best dragons to have for a farm as some of them can't have boosts applied or their habitats don't hold a enough DC. 😊
WOW. This is wonderful. So much work went into this list. Very Helpful.
So the Bouquet Dragon was going into the draw, and I had the exact number of shards (800) needed to auto-win.
I did this to obtain the twin since the draw has updated to give the twin version if you are missing it.
Or so I thought, since after running the auto-win, I did not receive a twin.
The question is: should I submit a ticket to DECA to see if I could get the twin like I should have?
When you claim the dragon it will be a twin. I noticed this as well. For some reason, when you click on the Info button in your Gifts, the dragon’s profile is the regular version. But after you collect the dragon, it'll either be a regular, twin, or traited-twin, depending on what you own.

Nacre is the best dragon for a DC farm. Boosted or unboosted. It makes mad money. Just two boosts takes it over the top into DC Land! When I have a chance, I’ll update the DC Farm post on the Help Desk.
Uugggghhhhh. I’ve been trying to clone lovey in the rift all week to get a lovey dovey. I finally got one and it was untraited.
I’d Even pay RL$ to add a trait.
I think many players would be happy to pay RL$ to be able to add a trait to a just bred dragon. Breeding untraited dragons must be the most frustrating feature of the game.

If real money was a method I'd prefer it to be out of the way personally. I've played other games where real money purchases are obvious and it really ruins the immersion. I like how DV has its purchases out of the way. I did think of another method of giving untraited dragons traits and posted it on Dear DECA a while ago because I hadn't seen anything like it suggested before and I was wondering other people's thoughts, but I think it may have gotten lost in the suggestions posted since as only MinyaZ commented on it. (Either that or the idea was so bad that no one wanted to say so. 🤣)

It most certainly is not a bad idea. Apologies for not replying, that wasn’t meant to be interpreted negatively. It would be fantastic to have a habitat with dragons awaiting their trait. The reason why Deca might not implement this is because it would take time and money to create and, in turn, would not increase revenue. That’s not to say everything Deca develops has to generate income, but they do have to balance their time with the monetary goals to operate DV.
That’s why some players have suggested their willingness to make an in-app purchase for a trait at the Rift Breeding Cave. It’s to Deca’s financial benefit to implement this feature. And it emphasises how important traited dragons are when breeding in the Rift.

Adlerist, what are the breeding odds of the Nacre? I have been trying to get a clone of yours in coop all week and getting nothing.

Random tip - I see people saying they save Kairos for double days. If you wait longer than 4 days, over a whole event, you'll probably earn less if you specifically wait for double days. But, because of how the mid-week double day schedule works (now that it's back to normal after last event), if you make sure your first Kairos use of an event is the first Thursday or Friday, after that your next five Karios uses will all be double days, without having to wait more than the necessary 4 days (though if you use Kairos on Thursday you'll have to wait 5 days the first time).
After that it'll be Monday > Friday so it doesn't work forever but it does work for quite a while. And since the last day of an event is always a Sunday, there will be enough non-EC-collection time to wait for Kairos to reset before the first Friday of the next event, regardless of when your final Kairos use of an event is.
I've used this strategy for a while (not last event of course) but I don't think I've ever seen anyone else suggest it, so I hope it helps someone who ordinarily waits until it's a double day to use Kairos. If your Kairos won't reset by this Saturday it won't work exactly how I said this event but you can use it in future events if you want to.

I hope this is the right place to request avatars, if so then could the adult Starwing and adult Cyclamen please be added? If they are there I've missed them every time D:

Thank you for the requests! Adult Starwing and Cyclamen have been added to the list of avatars. Usually, the baby is added because they’re so lovable. We don’t see quite as many requests for the adults. 😊
Are the effect generators available, other than snow? I can’t find any of them even listed in decorations, not even the snow generator. It is, Joe er, in the DV market. Please help, thanks!

The weather generators are located under Market > Buildings. Just do a search for 'generators', and they’ll show. They’re in the middle of the Buildings list, so you'll have to scroll a bit if you don’t use the search function.

Thank you! The babies are adorable! I just love the extra detail the fully grown ones get

Solar Eclipse is here with its decoration the Umbral Sculpture to celebrate today’s Great North American Total Solar Eclipse
Plus, the Umbral Sculpture’s animation has been turned on!
This is the third time in seven years a total or annular eclipse has crossed the United States mainland. The most recent were the total eclipse of August 2017 and the annular eclipse of October 2023.
The narrow path of totality (the Moon covers the Sun completely) will run through Mexico (from Sinaloa to Coahuila), the US (from Texas to Maine), and Canada (from Ontario to Newfoundland). A partial eclipse will be visible across nearly all of North America and a sliver of western Europe.
Totality starts today (April 8th) around 11:07 am PDT/1:07 pm EDT in Mexico and will leave Maine around 1:30 pm PDT/3:30 pm EDT.
Be sure to catch a glimpse of this rare spectacle. The next total solar eclipse in North America won’t arrive for another 20 years!
Map of the total solar eclipse path
This table provides the time that totality begins for some US cities. These areas will also experience a partial eclipse before and after these times.
Not on the path of the solar eclipse? Inclement weather keeping you indoors? Don’t have protective solar eyewear? Do not fret. There are plenty of places to livestream the event, or you can always watch it later.
NASA will share conversations with experts and provide telescope views of the eclipse from several sites along the totality path. Throughout the broadcast, you can send questions in the chat using #askNASA for a chance to have them answered live.
Skywatching website timeanddate.com will be covering the total solar eclipse from start to finish with their livestream and live blog that will feature real-time progress reports and background information.
Take eclipse viewing to the next level! The University of Maine is among 75 institutions comprising 53 teams nationwide to participate in the Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project led by Montana State University.
Join the McDonald Observatory as they talk about eclipses, what causes them, how to safely view them, and watch the peak of the eclipse from three locations in Texas: McDonald Observatory, Lake Buchanan, and Irving.
Were you asleep during the event? No problem! Replay any of these channels when you have some free time. The next total solar eclipse in North America won’t occur until 2044. Why wait? Watch it now.
WARNING: Except during the brief total phase of a total solar eclipse, when the Moon completely blocks the Sun, it is not safe to look directly at the Sun without specialised eye protection for solar viewing. Indirect viewing methods, such as pinhole projectors, can also be used to experience an eclipse. For more information on how to safely view the eclipse, please visit NASA’s Total Solar Eclipse Safety page.
