I've wondered about EoMs for a while because I think I once got a normal dragon from EoM even though I had either a twin or a traited version. I could be misremembering.
If you only have a twin, what is it supposed to give you? What about a twin and also a traited, but no normal version? What about a traited version but not a twin? And does the last one change depending on whether or not you have a normal version?
I think that's all the possible combos that aren't the EoM order of Normal - Normal and Twin - Normal, Twin, Traited.

The Egg of Mystery order is regular > twin > traited-twin.
The pattern only goes forward, not backwards. So if you have a twin, you’ll receive a traited-twin. And if you only have a traited-twin, you’ll only receive a traited-twin version of that dragon from the eggs. To receive a twin, you would need to sell the traited-twin and obtain a regular version. The mystery eggs do not recognise traited dragons. It treats regular and traited dragons the same. If you only have a traited dragon, you’ll receive a twin. With the exception of the limited mystery eggs (Galaxy, Snowflake, etc), you cannot receive traited dragons from the mystery eggs, only traited-twins.
Therefore, the only way you can receive a regular version of a dragon from the Egg of Mystery is by not owning the dragon.
The Daily Reward mystery egg, permanent mystery eggs from the Rift Market, Runic Breeding Cave eggs, and event reward eggs all follow this pattern.
The special, limited mystery eggs are the only exception. All the dragons in the limited eggs are traited, and you can receive a traited dragon that isn’t a traited-twin, provided that you don’t own the dragon.

My bad luck has done it once again. I put a Wips(D/L) and a Lagoon(W/I) on the breeding cave(no upgrades) on my secondary park, because I don't have any other dragon with that combination of elements. Without thinking too much about what dragons would come out I preesed breed. Then I went to the DV Sandboox to see what the possibilities were and to my surprise Dream was there. He is an dragon that I tried to breed on my main park, that has both breeding caves upgraded, for almost an week with no sucess so I gave up for now. When I looked at the time to see what I've made guess which dragon I got on the first try, with no upgrades and both dragons on LvL 10 .... the Dream dragon that I couldn't get on my main park and the best part is that cloning doesn't really work for him because he has all traits. I just can't even express how unlucky I'm in this game

Also also, with the non-reward gemstone habitat (i.e. the one that's permanently in the main market for gems), what price does it begin at? And is there anywhere that has all the currently known gem prices? And does the non-reward gemstone habitat count towards your overall habitat limit?
