If that is the case, one doesn't have to meticulously track? ?
This is the assumption I'm acting on currently. No meticulously tracking.
Light&Dark event started like that too but about half way in the limit was raised to something like 40,000 tokens and was never lowered again, until now
Has ANYONE come up with any possible workaround or fix for that 'stuck in the tutorial' issue? I desperately want to play around with all the neat options in this event, and collect tickets and everything, but I CAN'T, because the ONE PORTAL the game is fixated on happens to be hidden behind something.
Well, presumably, whatever idiots designed this 'Tutorial' has already received a deluge of trouble-tickets, so it'll presumably be fixed soon, but... in a time-limited event, 'soon' isn't necessarily 'soon enough'. >.<
One work around if you have a portal on a different island nearby...
I also got the MAJOR glitch of the game sending me to an island (not the lost island though) where the portal was not tappable because it was covered up.
Luckily, I finally realized I could tap a nearby portal on a different island. If that hadn't been there, I'd be screwed. Koala to those that ARE screwed
Send an e-mail to BFS though, it might be quicker than waiting around for a patch (they are working on one according to their facebook). Some players had encountered this issue before this event and the only way to resolve it was to send an e-mail to BFS.
Special Visitors award tickets During each phase, two flag-carrying visitors will appear. These guests will correspond to the current two events of the phase. (So for this first FIREFLIGHT phase the flag bearers will be RED and PURPLE - Fire and Air)
During the final phase, all the previous visitors reappear. Thus, all ten visitors are present in the final phase.
Having over 170 friends and going from the possibility of getting 5 tickets per friend s park, i could just visit 100 parks and have my daily ratio of tickets without doing anything else to collect lol Btw, gold in colosseum is worth 25 tickets.

I think just breeding and selling 250 Plant dragons would be faster.

Assuming you save your park either to FB or GC, I would start by uninstalling and reinstalling the DV app. That basically updates the park, and I'd be surprised if you were still stuck in the middle of a tutorial after doing that.
The only extra tickets gained have been from the tents themselves (kite flying ended after maxed out so now 100 tickets are stored in Gifts), Collecting cash,food, hats etc has stopped accumulating since maxed.
Same here, I maxed out before my kite flying finished so the 100 tickets went into my gifts for when it resets.

On the facebook page many have mentionned the same prob and BFS replied they are aware and working on a fix, so don t do anything, wait or send a mail to support.

when was the last time you manually/automatically back up your game to iCloud? If it was before the event has started you can dl DV again.

So, if this holds, I could delay collecting tickets from those tasks that require starting a long-running process (the challenge, questing, the colosseum, etc.) until after hitting the max each day. This could potentially give me a jump of a couple hundred tickets on each subsequent day...
The other thing that occurred to me is that it seems easy enough to reach the cap that I might just hold off on clearing my obstacles until a future event (until I see whether they will continue this capped approach for the next one).

I think that the Magical Wishing Well will give us more nursery space. At least I think this is the thing that people wish the most.

I was locked out. I'm not locked out now. There is now an x you can click in the upper right. BTW, because of the new fix, I was not locked in to purchasing the fire theme. I am glad there is at least one perk for all the time I missed on working on collecting tickets in my park. rulilind is jealous because she did most of the work in my park but she didn't get to forgo the fire theme.

Interesting twist - I was 41 tickets shy of daily max. Challenge tent thing just got completed - I got a message that 100 tix were earned but I am over the max. I now have a gift from BFS for 41 tix that I would be able to collect tomorrow. I tried breeding plant dragons, food farming - it doesn't add to the gift. Later today I will have Kairos quest and Colosseum finished - I wonder what else can be store for the next day. This would be huge - if you know you travel tomorrow you could "over do things" today...
Oh joy, oh joy! I'm loving the new event! I have, however, spent ALL DAY playing.
I was able to avoid buying the fire theme and kept my 1000 tickets!
I spent all afternoon closing and reopening my game, hoping it would close that part of the tutorial. Finally I decided to click on a different prize, and the tutorial took me to the next step! Now to decide which prizes to go for...
I just had a random thought. The help menu says that the Prize Tent will disappear 2-3 days after the event ends, and that you can still buy tickets for real money during that time.
If you had 1500 uncollected tickets in your gift menu, could you collect them on those extra days, even though the event has ended, but the tickets are still around?
help menu says, event ends Sept 21, tent is open until Sept 28. Not much use for it other than - you were too busy or forgot to turn your last tix. Or, if you are 30 tix short from the goal you really wanted, BFS will happily collect your 99c after the event is over, that's the real reason
Oh, it does say 21st! For some reason I thought it was the 26th. That means you could cram in at least 3500 extra tickets if my plan works.
Also, I just noticed in my baby park - tickets you get from plays (name that dragon and prize wheel) can also be sent to your gifts menu if you're at the limit.

Tracking doesn't seem that important as maxing out each day should be easy. However you might want to look at earnings and see what prizes you can afford. You can play around with these things in the spreadsheet that is linked in the OP.
