Not sure if this has already been mentioned (I'm out for dinner with friends and yes I'm sneakily playing DV) - I maxed out at 650 tickets and it won't allow me to collect any more.

OK so it wasn't that sneaky and I have been the butt of jokes all evening... "Dragons! Pixels! Why!?!" They just don't understand *shakes head*

I like the seemingly endless part hats; you GET cash and 5 tickets, plus you can see all the great parks! So much better than treats at 2 tickets randomly. I think I will gather tickets throughout the day with DC and contests, quests, coliseum etc and collect party hats toward the end of the day while watching a movie to hit whatever remains. You don't have to spend your gems and you don't have to spend money making endless treats if you don't want to. Received 5 gems twice on the wheel then quit that while I was ahead and went over to the guessing game.. Fun stuff! I'm loving this event!
I'm in a bad wifi area, so it takes me five minutes to load each park. Fun to see them, but not worth the wait. I prefer the food spam method.
NOTE: Therefore no once clear any islands! Save this for double days, when you get double the tickets for the clear able items. This doubles easy-to-get tickets. Just do a little more park visiting on the other days! Koala

Has ANYONE come up with any possible workaround or fix for that 'stuck in the tutorial' issue? I desperately want to play around with all the neat options in this event, and collect tickets and everything, but I CAN'T, because the ONE PORTAL the game is fixated on happens to be hidden behind something.
Well, presumably, whatever idiots designed this 'Tutorial' has already received a deluge of trouble-tickets, so it'll presumably be fixed soon, but... in a time-limited event, 'soon' isn't necessarily 'soon enough'. >.<
If the max is 500 tickets per day, and the event runs 68 days (help file says it ends Sept 21), that is potentially 34,000 tickets. I can already tell I'm going to save up until the end, when all the prizes are revealed.
I have a feeling that the first set of rewards will expire when the second set is opened up, and so on.
This is a question I wish they would answer for us asap. I'd like to get the twilight tower, but would prefer to wait and see what comes out later in the event.

So far, I haven't heard any. My suggestions are - Restart the app. Reinstall the app.
If if none of the above works, it is beyond me, sorry... Email BFS and cross your fingers.

1) Can you continue doing ticket-earning tasks? 2) If so, what happens to each extra batch of tickets earned (i.e. do you get yet another gift in the tab)? 3) Can you redeem some tickets for prizes and then immediately pull the gift ones out of the tab (i.e. does the max limit apply to tickets earned or ticket count in the active bank)?

Noodles says that she can't collect anymore. I assume that you have to wait until the next day to pull out the tickets.

The only extra tickets gained have been from the tents themselves (kite flying ended after maxed out so now 100 tickets are stored in Gifts), Collecting cash,food, hats etc has stopped accumulating since maxed.
Hi. Sorry that my first post back after a very long life interruption is a request.
I have not even opened my game until I caught up on this thread, but I'm so glad I did. Most, if not all of my portals are covered up by decorations because I don't like the look of them.
I am now going to bring them out in the open before proceeding with the tutorial. (Hopefully, I can and am not just forced into the tutorial upon opening the game.)
Can someone add a warning to the first page of this thread? Something like,
"CAUTION: BEFORE EMBARKING ON THE TUTORIAL, MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ISLAND PORTALS ARE ACCESSIBLE. USERS WITH HIDDEN PORTALS HAVE EXPERIENCED A GLITCH AND HAVE BEEN FROZEN IN THE TUTORIAL PHASE."

I've assumed that prizes with an hourglass in their discriptions (sun habitat, dragons) won't be around as long as prizes without an hourglass.
I think that might just be in game play rather than specifically for this phase of the event. So limited to this event total, which would mean it would be available till Sep 28th.

Mickdundee, there is a major glitch in the event. My game is frozen as it wants me to put the fire theme on to the lost island portal.cyou can't put themes on that Island. So while I can access the portal, my game is frozen too. Be sure to email support@backflip.com and tell them what is happening. Include your Game Center name, the level of your park and the device you are playing on
So if I've read everything correctly... some of the ways to earn tickets do have maximum limits, but there are ways to grind tickets to reach the overall max of 500 tickets a day?
If that is the case, one doesn't have to meticulously track? ?
