I did the tutorial and got 150 tickets. When I did, my entire iPad crashed, not just the game. I had to reboot. So what is this about getting 1000 tickets for completing the tutorial?
It looks like we can bank 100 a day, just make sure you have an event going in the Challenge Tent when you hit the maximum, and that extra 100 from the tent will go into gifts when you collect it.

You can also bank tickets from the Games Tent.
Good point, so collect your 500 (with a Challenge Tent event left running) and do the Gift Tent after you hit the limit. Might mean we can back an extra 175? or so.
Hmm, if you put your Celestial habitat in the tower, the option to buy another become available in the prizes. I wonder if you can get them both out if you buy another.
They be nice upgrades of the Sun and Moon habitats!

This time the counter for more tickets is 24 hours after the start of the event. I think that if we have doubles it will follow the same rule, so we won't get a few more hours to collect (double weekends used to be almost four days). It amkes sense, since in the current event we have a daily limit. It would be too confusing otherwise.

You could buy it, but then you couldn't bring the other one out of storage.
I tested that with Swimming Holes (limit of 25), but I assume it'll be the same for habitats.

I was thinking about this too. But with the max in place I'm wondering if it will be possible to collect those extra tickets at the end of the event before the "shopping" week.

I think the last phase (epic) might be expensive for those of us that don't have rift habitats or dragons so it would be nice to bank extra each day. Unless the gift menu will only accept one overage amount at any given time...
Help! I was going thru the tutorial I guess when I was directed to but the fire element for 1000 tickets. I did not want to but could not do anything else. It takes me directly to the portal on the lost island and tells me to tap the portal to place the element. I have been tapping away, nothing. It will not let me go to another island or move anywhere in my game. It is like it is frozen but the dragons are still animated. I have powered down three times and I get taken back to the same place!
I am playing on an iPad Air 2. Any thoughts or suggestions? Please help!,
Hi. I've heard that some people are having this issue and BFS is working on it. In the meantime, I would submit it to BFS (I'm not sure how to do this...maybe someone else can help). In prior events, I've had BFS "gift" me with a lot of free stuff to compensate for my losss of play (way more than I had any right to receive). So, I would expect they will give you free tickets after you are fixed. Hang in there.

I wonder if BFS "fixed" the tutorial portal glitch by eliminating it. I had to reinstall DV twice on my granddaughter's Kindle; we'd had no luck opening it. Finally got into her park, played the Tutorial, and never got the option to get the fire theme. No 1000 tickets.
One is for sure in the CBC, breeding Hypnotic with rulilind's Malachite. Thank you!

All I can say, where are the twins when you want them? Congratulations, glad I could help. It was a helping sort of day. I spent the day helping wapatango, both with RL and DV, now time to catch up and see what I can learn from the forum.
Interesting note: If you hit your max tickets for the day, then collect gem+ticket gifts from friends, you'll collect the gem, and the ticket portion stays banked in the gifts list. Thumbs up to BFS, for making sure those gifts are not lost.
