The Great Dragon Faire - CONCLUDED

The challenges seem to match the elements of the event phase. Even though the names of the challenges can throw you off, it will always be Fire and Air. There are little icons that are displayed at the top. I have been using Firework since it's level 20 and near the top of my list.

Well, I was doing Name the dragon when I maxed out, I'm now sat on 1678, and will be banking 200 when the Challenge Tent finishes.


Except it didn't, I'm now sat at 1650, so it looks like the banking thing isn't going to work. The 27 I banked yesterday are still in my gifts, but no extras.

oh and I have been using lvl 20 Panalong for the kite comp thing gotten 200 tickets everytime. I figured like the coleseum it was my best chance for both elements.

My extras for today were added to the extras for yesterday.

Totally forgot that I would get 200 for the Event Tent, so thought I was safe at 1456 for one more go. I now have 106 tickets in a gift from BFS.

Do the tickets from friends gifts get added to the BFS gifts if I try and collect them after reaching the max, or do they stay in there as separate gifts from friends?

The thing I love most about this event is the 'over-all' 500(1000) cap! 300 tickets for my 150 gem spend on the Gemstone habitat!!

After maxing out, the tickets from the Challenge Tent and tickets from Friends are "stored" in separate line items in the Social menu. I took a chance and closed out the competition in the Colosseum - got no tickets. I guess we knew that already.

Yeah. Maxing out happens pretty easily, which is cool. It means you don't have to worry too much about the Colosseum and other stuff. You can just play your game normally and you will reach the limit. I got there today without visiting people for party hats or growing treats, which is great because I find both of those pretty tedious.

But making up a store of tickets might be useful if we can turn them in during the last week of the game when we can't earn them anymore. 3500 should be safe enough to cover the 6 or 7 days that we will have. 50 a day over the 60+ days of the event will do it comfortably.

It seems they can only be stored by Faire Events, and possibly only the quest itself. But as that can be used for 100 tickets every day (200 on a double day) it's pretty easy to do. Just time it right to max out your tickets while a quest is going and 100 tickets will be banked for you when the quest is complete. Do this every other day, and only once during a double weekend and you will be covered. As long as you don't turn them in during the actual event, of course.
