I wondered what happened when I saw your other post about trying for twin sapphire!  Also wanted to catch you thank you for sharing your omen in the park in which we are friends.  I paired it with the twin I got and received two more omens back to back.... So I've been sending gratitude your way this week.

I'm so glad my dragons are continuing to spread koala to everyone involved. This month I alone received a twin omen, 2 muse, faire, 2 garlands, cotton, hydra, a couple other repeat epics, and a bunch of hybrids (almost have all of them except a few basics and most of the opposites), so I really can't complain. Thanks for letting me know my dragons have helped you out too and for the gratitude. Hope everyone is able to get their twin sapphire but if not, here's to opal! I'll sign up ahead of time.

Fear not, I suffered as well since I blew 30 gems to speed it up only to find it wasn't a twin.  HOWEVER, kairos will empty the coop in 10 minutes so one more try tonight... 

in the beginning of the month I bred two sapphires back to back and after speeding up the first and realizing it wasn't a twin, but getting another sapphire timer on the CBC, I thought for sure my luck had changed and I'd get a twin. Sadly both were regulars. Sigh.

Sorry Kelthorn, here to report a 10 hour fail....but I can sense we are getting close. The remaining three will drop down to two after a twin Sapphire Dragon drops by for a visit. koala to all!

I lost you!  I snuck my dragons into work today so I could clear the coop when my blizzard fail was done and there was no dragon available from you and retry wasn't an option.  So I bred rain with Keltorn.... 10hr fail still has some time to go; maybe toss your mountain into the chaos?     i will pair up with whatever you have selected in a couple of hours.  Fingers crossed

Kiwichris & Kelthorn:  heads together huddle time. Should we try out the higher level dragons?  I have a level 18 rain I might be able to get to 20 to pair with Kelthorn's level 20 mtn...  Also have a level 18 mountain. I'm not sure if any of it matters in the coop but I am only a couple of hours from resetting the breeding in both parks with both of you.  Thoughts?

I'm not sure it matters. Any bonus chance you get from higher level dragons probably cancels out once you factor in that it's also a higher chance of getting a rainbow/DR fail.

I just checked the sandbox and hey we can get a Lunar Eclipse as a fail now. Joy.

Yeah, I'm all sorts of confused because fletch said level doesn't matter in the co-op.  But now we've got these "slightly better" and "better" labels so I wonder if the joy happens at 20 now rather than 15.

Fletch will be able to tell you in more detail, but I gather that from tests that have been run by players there hasn't been any big statistical proof that level matters.

All the testing I've done, which is before the last change, indicated that level boosts only affected the Cave and Island. There was also a bit of an indication that the maximum amount of boost was received from higher level dragons in the cave, with not as much, or perhaps no bonus in the island. So that 2 level 20 dragons in the cave was the same boost as 2 level 10 dragons in the island, and then there was little benefit above that in the island. All this is up in the air now with level 21 dragons; the fact that they are only primaries and thus not much good for breeding too many of the rare/limiteds (although should be boost for Sun/Moon and Bone/Ghost, etc); and wondering if 1 level 21 dragon is good enough to boost the chance of getting an opposite, for example. Lots of questions. Not so much with the answers. :-)

Hmm...where has all the koala gone? I fear we should start lecturing our dragons to NOT eat koala regardless of any dragon treat shortage on the islands.

YOU GUYS I GOT A TWIN SAPPHIRE TODAY!! I thought I was not gonna get one in time but thanks to Eric3154 I got one. Thank you soooo much Eric if you're reading this! Could not be happier about my luck. I might even be able to snag loot or Procyon in the next 2 days now that my CBC is clear.

Haha talk about ill-fated! Must have caught me just as I moved the last one to the nursery, and then closed out of the game to check Fletch's thread, to make sure who I was breeding with
