Lycan is certainly different from the other dragons so for that reason (& for that matter all the new Halloween dragons) they are welcome additions to my park
Each dragon has it's own dragon 'fire' breath... Trick has ghosts, Ortreat has swirls, Lycan has moons and Spectre has dust/sprinkles... love these little touches

Thanks to party hatting in friends' parks, I was so impressed with arkynos' Spectre dragon that I took advantage of the sale. I love the flowing, ghostly look of this dragon! I am sharing it in my echo1217 park if anyone can decide what to breed it with.

I know that nobody has enough treats to buy the new dragons yet. (Well, most of us, probably.) But as soon as people are able to get the dragons, I'm really wondering about their breedability. As in, if I have X new dragon and a friend has Y new dragon, can I breed them together in the CBC to also get Y dragon? Or for all of them do they have to be X times X? I know this is a bit early to be asking the question, but I'm traveling for the entire month of October, and it's impossible to log in to my park enough to max out everyday, not just time wise, but also lack-of-internet-because-im-in-the-boonies-wise. I really want at least one of each dragon, but just don't think I'll be able to collect enough for them. So if I can breed even 1 that helps so much!

They are non-epic limited dragons, so you'll need to have 2 of the same one to breed.
I came accross the new moon theme on a friend s park. I must say, it really looks great and it will be on my shopping list - hopefully lol-

noodles : now that you have the dragons, are there still no hints for them ? I was hoping that Trick could be bred with Ortreat or vice versa, because they have the same elements.
On another note I turned my background to day ( to show it to my husband who was wandering about the "new" colors) : the moon stays there. Looks a bit funny in the bright daylight. But I think, this indicates that the moon will play a role.
I finally succeeded in breeding a second Tidal in my main park. Yeah ! Now on to the other seconds I need ! Does anybody have an idea why the Tidal has a breeding time of 15 hours and not twelve ?

also question, is it not possible to get all the dragons with the limited time frame?
If you mean possible to earn (not breed) the new dragons... If there are 3 more double days and if you max out everyday you should end up with 32,000 treats total. The cost of all the new dragons is 30,720.
So it is possible, but it's tight. And that's without adding the cost of the Spooky Habitat which costs 3,875 treats. And that's with the assumption there won't be a super limited surprise added to the event--which might happen on the full moon since BFS alluded to it in the update.

As I mentioned in the Coop thread you see the New Moon during the day, and not at night.
What I'm wondering is whether we will get control of the Moon after this event as at the moment it is obviously not attached to the Twilight Tower or the Weather Station.

I'm so done with this event. I was out with friends, stayed over with a couple of them, and all I could think of was how I hadn't hit max candy in either of my parks and I wouldn't be home before reset. From now on, I get what I get and I won't stress about maxing or banking

I just got one too, 28 hrs 48m in the EBI. (Though I got mine with Lodestone )

I'm so fed up with this event. I do not have a single flag bearer in either park and there aren't any pumpkins in either park although it shows that there is. My baby park only has 3 islands so it's not hard to find things. I can't even come close to getting the max in my baby park. There are still glitches re flag pple and pumpkins. This event is creating anxiety. 100% anxiety!

Good attitude. I'll be getting the habitat, the decorations, themes and the Lycan Dragon, in that order. If I get more than that, I'll look at what I can afford in the other dragons.

What took you so long? My family discussed quitting, but instead, made a pact yesterday, before reset, that we would not grind for every candy we could get. We decided we didn't need every dragon and every decoration. We have way more important things going on in our lives than DV. I do hope BFS realizes it is a small step from not needing every dragon to not needing any dragons.

I have no helpful insights on that one because it's where I'm at, too. The new crystalline dragon is causing my issues. I did decide to stop trying for Omen and other epics. I switched to making a pile of ghost babies ... Shorter breed times so things are beginning to move again, but yes... I feel your pain on that one. Sending you extra treats tonight for comfort food; share with the dragons ... or not.

I'm a completionist, and until yesterday, I could complete pretty much everything with minimal effort. Also, I had no social life and could do DV in lectures. Now classes are over and I have to stay home and study, grinding is less acceptable.

Accidentally collected from the Competition Ring 5 times instead of banking the last one... stupid
I'm impressed you can bank anything, quite frankly. I only reached max yesterday by buying the Crystalline habitat to take advantage of the double gems. Bought another gem habitat today to get me close.
That being said, I'm trying to minimise the gifts I collect now so I guess those count as banked. But I doubt I'll go all event without cashing them in.
