Taping for plumpkins don t forget also to look for thr poles holders you got with the elders. They are much easier to find as they do not at all match with the new themed visitors.
Unfortunately, it seems like Backflip listened to everyone who complained about the easy-to-reach ticket limit, so now it's 1000.
Which of course doesn't make the prizes any easier to get, it just doubles your workload...
This will help immensely in what we can buy though. Not counting doubles weekends we would have only gotten 12,500 candy at 500 a day. Wouldn't have even seemed worth it at these prices. So yes double work load but more candy to buy things with!!
Not really, because the event is a lot shorter and the prizes are more expensive.
Think of it this way: If they double the daily limit and double the prize costs, did you really gain anything? The numbers are always going to be balanced around someone doing the maximum every day, and that's just gotten a lot harder.
But that's apparently what people want. If it's easy to reach the maximum, they will complain bitterly about "missing out" on tickets. Just read the Facebook comments from around that time.

So like the Faire event, you can pick and choose prizes? I already have the spooky and dark themes and Whitbee's Lantern. I'd definitely like the moon theme and the dragons ... not sure about the other decorations yet.

I waited to give my treats & gems until after the event started but they didn't result in my friends getting any candy hopefully they will work on reset tonight.

If I am adding this up right, we need a little over 40k to get everything new, one copy each. 26 days with 2 double weekends is 32k. Leaving us 8k short. No social breeding the dragons until you get one, none are epic.
And if the event ends without a week to buy things like the faire did, then hoarding tickets won't help except in getting extra food conversion at the end.

It's the one "Halloween" dragon I don't have on my trick or treat island, as it resides on my dark / apoc island instead...
hopefully they will work on reset tonight.
