I don't have enough iceberries for the greenhouse, if I want to get the Verglace dragon. But I may have enough to buy a 2nd ornamental habitat or the Crystal Castle (didn't get last year). I have no space on my islands as they are arranged for a 2nd habitat, so I'd stow it for now. I keep vacillating.
And along those lines, I also cannot decide if spending 500 gems (I currently have 1326) on the Spooky Habitat is a good idea either. I didn't get it for the Halloween event and I'm just not sure. Ugh. Will that be around until the 11th with BEB?

I am always sad when these events end!! I know some people hate them ,but to me they add so much fun and DRAGONS!! Any guess to when the next one will be?

I am neigher on twitter nor on FB but I just click the twitter icon on the right and it opens a new little window saying something like " share this blabla" Underneith that window comes then another one with teo options : Cancel or ... Whatever, I just click Cancel and the DV windows comes back saying that thanks you shared this you get an extra gem. Simple as that. Does not work (for me at least) if i try on the FB icon.

when you complete a goal (one of the ones in the upper left corner), a pop up will appear with a wizard on it and on the right hand side there will be two icons, one for Twitter and one for Facebook. The Twitter one is glitched (generous?) in that you do not need to have an active account for it to register as you posting it to social media. Thus, you get a free gem in addition to whatever goal completion currency is given when the pop up appears. I used to be able to pretend to post to Facebook as well but then hit cancel instead of post and still get the gem but not anymore.

I suspect the Twitter SDK does not allow for feedback so BFS cannot tell if the message was posted or not.

I feel like I keep asking the same questions over and over about breeding, but with so many different rules it seems I'm never totally sure of what I can and cannot do.... so apologies if this has been answered a zillion times. If I dont get all of the ornamental dragons I can still breed for them whenever I want in the coop using my epic and someone else's ornamental dragon since they are in the epic portion of the dragonarium (in addition to the specials/winter section). correct??
This event has been great. I really enjoy the events. Next one should be in a couple of weeks for Valentines Day, unless BFS mixes things up this year and it is something entirely different.

Thanks, Buffy -- looking at the breeding outcomes, it appears that if you breed verglace with flicker you could produce either one (and their pedestals) much easier after BEB is over. You'd still be at the mercy of a DR, but about 10 dragons fall out of the possible fail list. Soooo.... I wouldn't even have to breed an epic with someone's ornamental dragon, it seems I can just breed whatever I have in that category with whatever I want.
I bred my Flicker with a friend's and got twins, which I incubated and hatched. While the 2nd one was incubating, I tried again and ended up with an Ortreat dragon -- I don't have the pedestal and I don't think I want a 2nd, so I'm probably going to display it. I'm now trying to breed my two Flickers to get the pedestal, but am breeding an unknown fail (forget how many hours/minutes).

Can anyone confirm it's possible to get a Lace using my Ornament x friend's Lace? I've been trying non-stop since the first Lace show up in co-op cave, with quite a few gem speedups, but have no luck at all! I'm starting to wonder if my breeding combo doesn't work. Now my friends are switching their Lace to other dragons one by one, leaving me with only one level 11 Lace to breed with Gosh how I want that dragon! It is the LAST dragon I need to bring fire on my dragonarium!
I was just checking the sandbox and it looks like you cannot get an Ornamental from breeding any of the two other ornamental habitat dragons. Dang it! I was hoping....... I guess it's just coop for me to try and get the only one I'm missing. I've been trying since the start of the event and no good.
Anyhoo.... I really, really like the way they've begun doing the events! The last 3 have been so much fun! Plus this BEB I've gotten so many new dragons I wish I'd written them down because I've forgotten how many there have been! Huge score! Lol

Yeah, the spire is somewhat overzealous. It started saying that I had 1 Verglace and 1 Verglace pedestal immediately after I bred it in co-op.
The egg wasn't even in the Nursery yet - I'd just gotten the 25h timer.
I was looking for my flag bearers in my small park and found the gift with one gem attached. I wonder if it will stay around until the prize tent closes.

For those who are wondering whether to get the Magical Greenhouse, remember that we've heard that we'll be able to go past L70 this year and we will need lots and lots of treats to feed up dragons for the XP.
