I bred my Flicker with a friend's and got twins, which I incubated and hatched. While the 2nd one was incubating, I tried again and ended up with an Ortreat dragon -- I don't have the pedestal and I don't think I want a 2nd, so I'm probably going to display it. I'm now trying to breed my two Flickers to get the pedestal, but am breeding an unknown fail (forget how many hours/minutes).

Can anyone confirm it's possible to get a Lace using my Ornament x friend's Lace? I've been trying non-stop since the first Lace show up in co-op cave, with quite a few gem speedups, but have no luck at all! I'm starting to wonder if my breeding combo doesn't work. Now my friends are switching their Lace to other dragons one by one, leaving me with only one level 11 Lace to breed with Gosh how I want that dragon! It is the LAST dragon I need to bring fire on my dragonarium!
Yes, it's possible! I didn't use an ornamental dragon, but I got my lace by breeding my own Monolith 1 with a friend's Lace in coop, so don't lose hope!
I was looking for my flag bearers in my small park and found the gift with one gem attached. I wonder if it will stay around until the prize tent closes.
I logged in to report this as well. I found the purple & gold gift that gives a gem in both of my parks after reset today. It obviously no longer gives ice berries, but it still gives you the gem. I don't know if that was intended or not, but it would be nice if that continues every day for the next week.
The only thing I didn't care for with this event was the memory load put on my system with the snowfall (which I turned off) together with all the sparkly habitats and decorations going for BeB. I do like all the sparkles, but the occasional lag was a bit annoying. Also, I repeatedly got the message "someone else is already logged into your park, please try again" (or something to that effect) message. I assume that was a glitch, and that's probably already been mentioned/discussed here by others (sorry if it has been).

This stinks but I have no proof to show BFS. I got shorted about 500 iceberries from my banked ones. I had hit max yesterday so this morning I added up what I had in my park with my banked berries and figured out what I could buy. Well now after buying Verglace and the Treatery I don't have enough to buy the second ornamental habitat and the Crystal Castle. I should have had enough for both but don't.
Edit.... Ok this is fast work! Lol In the time it took for me to type the above post and log back into my park the missing iceberries have appeared.

Not a bad event overall--maxed out and banked most days and have no idea what to spend the remaining berries on. It's a problem, but I can live with it.
BEB, on the other hand...I didn't manage to successfully breed anything I needed. I did breed Neoteric at least, and got other dragons I needed as gifts, but, yeah, my opinion of BEB as too full of unwanted fails continues. Great thing for newcomers, maybe not so much for those in need of just a handful of dragons?

when you complete a goal (one of the ones in the upper left corner), a pop up will appear with a wizard on it and on the right hand side there will be two icons, one for Twitter and one for Facebook. The Twitter one is glitched (generous?) in that you do not need to have an active account for it to register as you posting it to social media. Thus, you get a free gem in addition to whatever goal completion currency is given when the pop up appears. I used to be able to pretend to post to Facebook as well but then hit cancel instead of post and still get the gem but not anymore.
I suspect the Twitter SDK does not allow for feedback so BFS cannot tell if the message was posted or not.
On the Facebook thing you can change the status from public to "only you" so your message only shows to you. Clock the down arrow by the globe icon and no one else will see your message.

I have to say, I was quite impressed with this event! I was able to buy all of the new dragons, two ornamental habitats, and the Winter a Wonderland island theme! Now, BEB on the other hand, has not been kind to me...

I only have two in my habitat and no egg+ symbol; cannot buy ornamentals in the market so egg+ wouldn't work. You should be good to put a 5th in your habitat.

It holds 5. It doesn't show the buy egg symbol because currently you cannot buy Ornamental dragons in the regular market.
It's been a very good event for me. I was able to max out and bank everyday, and by not buying the Lace dragon and Holly dragon and breeding for them instead (which I was successful at), I was able to get everything else I wanted and still have a bit left over to turn into treats! I only needed the Lycan dragon for BeB and got that pretty quickly, so I've got my Dragonarium breathing fire again, which was my goal by 2016. Now I'm just breeding for second Ornamental dragons and need a Monolith 5 pedestal egg as the last I'm missing. Feeling good!

Same issue with BeB here: I was missing Loot and Delirium + both latest Galaxies. I got Loot from the advent calendar and nothing more even if I've been trying like crazy for Delirium since the start… On the other side, this event was really great with the new Dragons and the surprises and the gifts. I feel kind of spoiled by Backflip generosity so I don't have any hard feelings about the whole event. That was fun!
