Pedestals vs. Crystal Castle? WWYD? The Castle takes up a TON of space and I can't get both that and the Dazzling pedestal (gave up trying to breed mine -- too many Aurora fails).
This was Saturday:
I'd say the pedestal. Dazzling can only be bred with anothe dazzling and the percentage is low. The castle will return, or if you still have your wish...but it's just a decoration.

I used my wish already. And I'm probably going to skip it and get the Dazzling and Verglace pedestals (I managed to breed to Flicker one).

I found one this morning about half an hour ago. I don't actually look for it but I do a sweep each morning having a quick look for flag bearers. Today it jumped out at me.

I haven't found it for the past two days. Anyone else?
It resets with the flag-bearers. There was one day I found it twice, but that could be because my reset is at 7 pm (CET).
That said, I will glitter in about 12 hours. Then (planned obsolesence) that will last some 5 days till a new Crystalline and company kick in. This is getting exhausting

Adding my whine in hopes the wizards are paing attention. I have been trying for Pyrite since it appeared with no luck. Using level 20 dragons and no luck. Down about 200 gems so far. Also no luck for Ovalith. Have been trying since I hatched Panlong but no luck.
On the positive side, BEB has been Great! I have gotten Paper, Leathery, Century, Light Rift, and Panlong. I got Dark Rift and Sorarian for my gifts. So, very pleased overall.
Thank you wizards for BEB dragons and gifts. Please be generous with Pyrite and Ovalith.
Do you remember the combo you used for Leathery? I have been trying and trying and I can't get it (whine!)
I finally bred a leathery with blue fire + crystal..... took awhile
This is it. Okay, I'm sparkling. But the last breeds (and I'm no longer hurrying anything up) are all fails, unless the 11:12 is a Darkling, for which I still needed a double.
On the whole, not bad, but could've been better. I could use some rest now.
I'm embarrassed to say all I need is one piece from kairos lol I never cared about him until now lol I have a bunch of pedestals to get but at least I have all of my dragons minus a piece of kairos. I have a feeling this last piece is going to be very difficult:)
Tomorrow around this time is better. I got everything bogged down by Auroras

Arrrgh! Abandon me, Buffy! Picking up the unwanted Crystal, I cussed the Elysium culprit and hit retry, saying "this will be just another 6-hour fail". Response: a possible Elysium, which with my luck may just turn out another Rainbow reject. But I'm not good for another 2 days...
I assume too much. Really sorry. I'm sounding like that lunch-with-a-friend-in-between-Board-meetings.

I wish you luck in getting that Elysium! I've been trying too, and had one Solar Eclipse fail. The terrible thing about trying for an Elysium is that you have to wait till the egg lands in the nursery before you decide whether to celebrate or mourn...

One last Frostival comment: I can't believe it took me so long to observe the antics of Verglace! After much skilled skating and a masterful wingtip balancing act, his "skates" get away from him and he slips and lands on his bum! Quick recovery and he's off again. A fun show!
