I don’t see it either.  All the event items cost either cash or gems.  I can’t tell whether they have the dragons marked as “expired” for breeding....’cause that’s the only thing you could spend the crystals on that I can find.  The market does let you buy Spirit Crystals for another 3+ days, so maybe it is for continued breeding.

Just checked out FB and it says at the end of the event... so I guess at the end of this additional 3 days... the Spirit Crystals will be turned into 'Enchanted variants' - why don't they just say they are going to turn them into Enchanted Crystals. What's this 'variants' malarkey about!

And I'm annoyed they've added on these additional days - my boost brew for Scorpia ends in 2 days and I was counting on the Crystals to help me get the Enchanted version 😠

At first, I thought I wouldn't get the last three Enchanted Spirits I'm missing. I thought I'll lose hope since I have 7 Spirit Crystals left. I thought I'll brew a Calavera potion just to knock it out. and got it after 4 Spirit Crystals before the event ended. Then I thought I'll it out again by brewing a Calaca potion and actually got it after the first try. I have gained hope for Enchanted Zancos, I got it after brewing and using the boost potion after two tries. So now, I have all 16 Enchanted Spirit! Woohoo!

Yep...I think it was pretty awesome of them to trade them straight across for the Enchanted Crystals and shards. I now have a nice little stash of Enchanted Crystals to fall back on. I’d been resisting the temptation to go after the regular enchanted dragons I wanted for fear I’d come up short on crystals for the limiteds. Thank you BFS

Thank goodness that's over... it was like a never ending event, the end timer just kept on getting longer!

I stopped using gems to get more Spirit Crystals so my grand total transferred to Enchanted Crystals was only 30, but I'm pleased with that especially as I finally managed to breed the Enchanted Scopia this morning, allowing me to save the other 29 for other Enchanted attempts 😊

For those of you trying for Shiver.... I got it with Mistral x Frozen, but it took several attempts. I got the Enchanted version with EnFrozen x EnAir on the second try using the rarety potion.

I am barely, but just until I have a complete Zodia collection. Which reminds me, has anyone noticed that an Aquarius dragon is not included on the potential list? Maybe BFS will give that one as a freebie once you collect the other 11. Time will tell.

about once a week if I'm bored
will prob decorate and buy more habs etc while on summer hols; so it's just a doodle time filler for me 
not even bothered about shards an special dragons etc, sad really, just didn't do it for me

Ditto; I like to decide what gets updated ( and of course am STILL resisting iOS above 9.3 on iPad for fear of losing gcid pals...and look at the hassles of trying to add just ONE FB friend... Arrgghh) gives me soooo much confidence in using FB for friending, not.

I like that they're planning new land, but frankly the change on enchanteds (yes I know potions can help) mean that I'm not trying to spend gems on anything. And then they reminded me of the change when the exploration dragons came back and I remembered that with some constant breeding, I have all those enchanteds. I want to see what this weather thing will do, but this game is getting very casual for me too.

I’m still playing. I’m up to date on all but the new event dragons. The shards thing is frustrating. I’m not good at dragon drop and I’ve only gotten the new shards once from sending off ships.

I go through the motions a couple times a day. I'm still on the old, old, old version where I get a new enchanted once a week with the events. I'm staying on this version until I get what was released up until that point. I have about 30 or so to get... I check out the new events on family devices, but not interested enough to update at this point. I prefer the way Dragonvale original does events, it feels like if you invest time and energy at least you get rewarded with new items. A family member already got a double of the new dragons and only used a second shard...that isn't fun when it takes so long to get one.

I rarely play either DV or DVW with sound on
Maybe they're promoting the new Star Wars movie on the sly 😂
Or trying to grab some halo-effect cred for this game 😜

Anyone playing the new event and having issues breeding the new dragons? The event dragons requires a crystal which takes a lot to form. I have bred the Briar Wildfire so many times that it's ridiculous. There are 8 new dragons and yet I keep getting that 2-hour breed time. Is there an issue??

Breeding 2 of ANY of the four dragons required for the new dragons can get you ANY of the briar!versions of old dragons

Yes, I am thoroughly disgusted with the event.  I have tried various combos of the four dragons yet am only getting the same dragon over and over again.  I can average 1-2 crystals a day, but I am a bit fed up with the breeding chances and wasting those crystals.  I get thatvthey can't make it toooo easy, but it's a bit ridiculous at this point, lol.
