Ugh. My game is lagging badly on my iphone 5. I found the weather station and turned the roses off, but it is still struggling.
Ditto on my iPad 2; did what you did, and did a force close: helped a bit, but vveerryy slow on things like skimming coins too...
My poor old iPad 2 has been desperately trying to hold on for last couple of months, but it's having a really hard time with this event =/ I've already had to switch over to my iPhone for gifting, because gifting crashes my game on the iPad, but I worry for general gameplay all together now...
Any one else having problems getting in? I played when it first started and now it kicks me off every time before it even starts trying to open. I have force closed and shut down iPad and done everything I can think of.
Yes, I have this problem on Android as well. Very frustrating. I even reinstalled the game, but it didn't really work.
Is there a basics post somewhere for people who are on their first event? What is all this doubles and holding stuff? Man, I knew everything about this game when I uninstalled it back in 2013 or whatever it was

I know how to sign on to pro boards. I am having trouble with gamecenter.When I log on to game I don't get dropdown welcome sign and when I go to friends only No yard is there. If I click game center on phone,it shows me but no games and no friends. I am on iPhone. I don't want to delete my game,too scary and I have been playing for years,and would be heartbroken to lose my dragons (all but lace) anyone? Help
Don't forget. If your cave is free and you aren't trying to madly breed other dragons, you can put 2 sandstorms in for an easy 20 that will coincide with your challenge tent.

Try logging out of your game, in your game. It sounds as though you are not logged into game. Just my 2 cents.

Since the update for the event, DV prompts me every time about which park I want to use - GC or local. I've logged in and out of GC, rebooted my phone (5S), forced DV closed, and done everything else known to man to make it stop asking me. I've never created a local park on my phone. It didn't do this pre-update. Is this a new thing and I just need to quit being Type A about it? Or should I notify BFS?
And wouldn't you know it...start a new event with a nursery full of time hogs: couple of suns, an Oly and a Mono 3 or 4. :/ Way to clog it up...gonna be spending those gems, I guess!

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but for this event, if you turn your egg into pedestal, you can still get roses. I displayed a twin DR and immediately I reached today's limit. If I remember correctly, in past events you only get the event currency if you hatch or sell the egg, not display it. Very nice change!

I want everything on the event island. The buildings are very cool. Love the moat too. Wish we could actually lay down a moat like we do paths. But I guess BFS has to keep some cool stuff for themselves.

I would get it fixed, and not ignore it. I'd be worried myself that someday I'd accidentally click local park and it would overwrite the GC one with something new. I've only seen this myself rarely when switching GC accounts on the same device and logging into DV to send gems. Sometimes it'll get confused with the prior park and ask that question. I assume when you said you tried everything, that you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it? Your park is safe on GC, especially if you've been picking GC park in that questions and getting the correct one.
Does anyone know the combos for the new dragons i.e.serenity? I can't unlock future prizes without it:(
Serenity is an epic, so you should be able to co-op breed with a friend (if they already have). I doubt there is any breeding combo available to breed on your own. The past event dragons weren't breedable (aside from co-op) until BEB, so these ones should be no difference
PS: You don't need to get serenity to unlock future prizes. Just buy some pedestals.

I am possibly the only one that prefer "name that dragon" over the new memory game. Sure the memory game gives more roses, but since we still have the same limit, it doesn't matter a lot (aside from saving you some grinding). Being able to recogonize 250+ dragons, both adult and baby forms, by only looking at their silhouette feels like a big achievement. Proud to be a DV nerd whenever I play that game

I was hopping for the same. My daughter didn't get it last year and she's always telling me how pretty it is. She would be so glad to have it… Still expecting it to be available later.

Sure the memory game gives more roses, but since we still have the same limit, it doesn't matter a lot (aside from saving you some grinding). Being able to recogonize 250+ dragons, both adult and baby forms, by only looking at their silhouette feels like a big achievement. Proud to be a DV nerd whenever I play that game
I feel the same way, yingying! I sort of miss going "wait a minute, I don't know you! It must be an Aura dragon!", pick the Unknown name and go "Ooh, fancy!".

yes I updated before game... kept getting message abt local park or GC which I ignored. Nothing else changed! I can see some friends in gifts but no one in friends list. I am not sure how you sign in and out of game center and have never used local park. Have written backflip no respomce so far.

I don't want to have to buy pedestals in order to unlock prizes. I was hoping to breed an additional dragon to use for a pedestal in the coop. Maybe I'm confused.
