For purchasing purposes, it seems like it would be a lot easier if BFS just gave everyone a lump sum of their banked eggs (<7000) when the collection period ends.
So I just loaded this game a couple weeks ago and quickly got addicted lol. But I wasn't part of the egg hunt from the beginning so trying to figure out what to do now. I have the first two mono dragons, and habitat. And I hope to spend ALL my gems eep! On catching up tomorrow in the rotund so I can get the free egg (what is it??)and marble dragon. But can I put them in my mono habitat or will they need different ones and if so which ones because I can only buy from the first level or two anyway now. Is there anything else buying with the magic eggs??
Welcome! You will need the chrysalis habitat (2995?) to put your marbletail dragon in. If you don't have enough eggs it will probably stay in your social menu for awhile. I would be happy to send eggs til the end of the event if you send a friend request to the first 3 parks in my signature ... that should give you a boost!

Remember the old days, when we must have had loads of free time in our days? Because we weren't spending many hours each day searching our parks for elusive hidden eggs, and participating in endless events. I miss those days. That pachinko machine though, I think I'm going to miss that.
Just got an in-game message saying the Prize Market will be available through April 4th. I hope that this is a mistake because it contradicts previous information that it would be available through April 11th (i.e., the extra post-event week).
If they don't clear that up soon-ish, I'll have to start hedging my bets by cashing out early.
Under the Help menu, "Unused Magic Eggs" (I copy):
When the Legendary Egg Hunt has ended, the prize collections will continue to be available through April 11. During this time, you can continue to exchange Magic Eggs for prizes and purchase Magic Eggs from the market. You can still collect Magic Eggs from your gifts, but the daily maximum still applies. On April 12, any remaining Magic Eggs will be turned into Dragon Treats.
Game rules are contract terms, right?
I'm personally miffed about the bank ceilings as I see the bank as a valid indicator of the effort and SOCIAL ADVERTISING players put into the game, from which BFS also profits. (It also feels like an Argentinian "corralito", but companies aren't exactly democracies).
So, we have 3 days of Doubles, but only 2 days of the event left....
I guess we can collect 2000 from our bank on the first day after it ends.
Their FAQ said the event goes through April 4th. So we have either 3 more days or possibly 4 if they mean Monday is a whole day of the event.
The rewards rotunda doesn't seem to go that long which is weird. I'm kinda hoping new stuff shows up there, but who knows.. Maybe we just don't get any rewards those days.
The Christmas Rotunda didn't go every of the event either. Over the weekend, it occurred to me -- if you miss a day during the 24 days, you still get to open the next one free. You just spend gems after that to open a second on the same day. So I wonder if these extra days are to allow people who miss a day or two to still get all 24 gifts even without spending gems? The next time we have one, I'll have to give it a try in my baby park and see if it works.
Did anyone else notice that you bred more event dragons this last weekend?
Earlier in the event, I purchased a Duskwing with eggs and bred it using the co-op with someone else's Marbletail, acquiring a Lacewing thusly. I bred the Duskwing and Lacewing together for a time with no results until I suddenly realized that that is not a valid combination for anything other Duskwing and Lacewing (which I already had!) So I bought a Swallowtail with eggs and Bred the Duskwing with it in my Island. Meanwhile I was breeding My Lacewing with someone else's Swallowtail in the Co-op (looking for a Marbletail) Nothing. Until this weekend.
Over the doubles weekend, I got a twin Duskwing from someone breeding with my Lacewing. I bred a Chrysalis in the Island and this morning I got a timer in the Co-op that is either a Lacewing or a Swallowtail!
Once the island is gone will you still be able to open a new level in the prize market? I still need to open Gossamer. I waited until the last minute to see if I could breed something to help me unlock it and I did. I have swallowtail in the EBS and that will do it for Gossamer. I could use the gems (probably close to 70) to speed things up if I have to open the level before the island disappears. Or I could save the gems and wait patiently if you can open levels after the island disappears. Does anyone know how the prize market works the final week?

I'm expecting to be able to breed event dragons until the prize market closes. I'm hoping they will stay longer. In any case, they can still be epic cloned in the CBC with friends' dragons.

I'm so hoping this too. As I've yet to breed any. Got chyrsalis last week with eggs, and just got duskwing today with eggs, so I'm hoping for a chance to breed the last two, as I certainly don't have eggs for them!
My theory is they won't disappear on the 5th as we haven't gotten a last call on them, and don't we usually get 48 hours or so in warning?

After the Gardenia's Gathering of Roses ended, a player could still unlock levels in the prize tent during the last week. So I assume that we will be able to the same for this event.

It should still be available, as collecting prizes (via purchase or breeding) is what unlocks the levels.
I am so happy, after missing 6 days of opening rotunda gifts I was able to open everything with 51 gems. I felt like it was a small price to pay for a Marbletail!
If my calculations are correct, the final tally is 35,850 eggs + 7000 from the bank in the coming days. So that's 42,850.
Two habitats and one of each Chrysalis (except Marbletail) costs 42,470.
That leaves you with 380 eggs left over - enough to buy that Mono 5 pedestal you always wanted.
