Drive-by sanity check for a comparative newbie here, if people would be so kind...
So far only bought whatever limited dragons escaped my caves and the spooky/meridiem habitats (looked neat, were cheap, and I vaguely recall miscalculating and finding myself short a habitat slot for something-or-other and hey instant build). Only picked the game up maybe a month or so before the tournament started so my inventory of Useful Stuff consists of zip, zilch, and nada. Quick skimming of the prizes and I think I've got a few prioritized groups - do they make sense to the veterans?
High - Monument of the Epics, Relic of the Epics, Twilight Tower, Magical Greenhouse Medium - Olympus Reward Habitat x2, Lost Island of Olympus, Omnitat Low - dragons, Goody's Treatery (the only reason I connected my game to my FB account [that I don't really want in the first place] was for account protection, I've got precisely one friend who shows up and by the looks of it I'm not sure he got past the intro; yes I know I'm crippling my co-op cave) Low-but-want-anyhow - Spooky Theme, Wonderland Theme, Weather Station Low - pretty much everything else (only got so many rings and I tend to be lazy about decorating stuff anyhow)...
I've got enough to get everything listed in High with plenty to spare. Can get everything in Medium (I think) but it would burn through most of what would be left over after High. Any suggestions/comments/something-or-others? Going to give things a look-over tomorrow, when I'm not half-asleep, with regards to the expired habitat/dragon prizes - won't be able to get all of any of them (at least not without giving up other stuff) but gotta' start somewhere. This game's got rather quirky breeding rules though - the ornamental/aura dragons you can only breed what you've got access to (yours/co-op) but with chrysalis A+B=C and if you also have either D/E you can eventually get E/D yes? Seems to suggest that regardless of looks chrysalis is the best investment since I could (eventually...) get 2/5 for free...

Everything in the high and medium is a definite. However, I would switch the twilight tower for Goody's Treatery. You can always make a 2nd account and send yourself treats along with 2 other people. It won't be difficult to find friends on this forum:) You said you can get everything on your high and medium list? Use all the rings you can because they turn into food once the event is over. Many of the items won't show up until another tournament and/or will cost a ton of gems to purchase. Don't forget you also have a wish from the wishing well.

I'd like to have a rest for a month at least, without having to log into the game every two hours to send dragons to the arena (I have more than 1 park), so that becomes tiresome after some time. But I love the way they made this event - rings are easily maxed out unlike during previous events.

So close to done. I honestly can't wait. But glad for the long event to make it so we can afford all the stuff, but at the same time what a time consuming event for summer.

the anniversary will be cool too. Viewed? Just the one. Discussed? Much more. They have the rest of the year planned. But I imagine come mid-December I too will be in the dark, as everyone. It's nice being able to know what's to come for now though.

I haven't enough rings to even buy all the dragons! Will it be possible to breed any of them after the event? And will there be another Bring 'em back event - they seem to have stopped the last couple of years. Thanks!

Is not the BEB event every year in December? It's not an event like this, just the fact that all dragons can be bred.

All of the Olympus dragons are breedable now via the coop with another epic dragon, its just the house dragons that currently can't be bred (with the notable exception of Iron Blossom, which can be bred with Iron Blosson x Thorn in the coop). So you really only NEED to buy 2 house dragons, as you got one when you choose a house, and another through the gifts. Most likely these will get a breeding combination during BEB this year, but won't be breedable until then. That's just a guess though.

Sorry, I should have clarified: House dragons can only be bred with like X like, so you have to buy one first, it isn't breedable with any combo currently that doesn't involve 2 (with the exception of Iron Blossom). Whereas the Olympic dragons can be bred with epic X Olympic in the coop, so you don't necessarily need to buy one in order to breed. Since the question was about affording dragons, I didn't bother explaining that, sorry!

Needed an extra 1000 rings to get my last item so gave in and purchases 2 packages. But while i was chaged for 2 packages only one lot of rings have shown up. Have emailed suport with the invoice numbers. Has anyone had any experience like this? Any idea how long it takes for a response. Dont want to miss out on my greenhouse.

So I bought the treaters last night, and was able to give 3treats away, then this morning ing 3 more were available....BUT I can't gift the same people??? When do treats reset? Should I just randomly treat 3 people now or wait to see if I wait 24 hours of can gift the same people again....
