Does anyone have an extra park and be willing to blue heart a nether? It's the only dragon I don't have and it's driving me cray cray lol I'm happy to blue heart any dragon in return.

I am afraid that the Nether Dragon is not an epic, so at the moment it can only be bred via like X like.
When to the rings end? I was under the impression that this was the last day and I still can send dragons to the arena.
Today should be the last day that we are able to collect rings from our park. Starting tomorrow we should be able to collect up to 7,000 rings from our social menu.
Not sure if we will be collecting one thousand rings over the course of seven days, or if 7,000 rings will be automatically added to our total tomorrow. If memory serves me right, once the last event ended it was the following day in which 7,000 event currency was added to our final total from the social menu while the rest of event currency was converted into dragon treats.
I got kicked out of my first park at reset and accidentally let the second one reload, so full disaster pretty much. I hope those extra 1000 rings don't end up making an important difference.

I thought we were only able to collect 1,000 rings per day for the next 7 days. I wondered then why couldn't we just collect the 7K rings at one time, I'd had all the rings.

EuroKnuter , the whine gods heard me! Yesterday for the sworn last time I hit retry and I'm getting a Herald! (Hope it's twins). Of course by that time I'd already spent on everything else there was and was getting ready to buy one, and now there's no need. I'll be sparking shortly before BEB and the anniversary dragon

I'm really happy about this event, too. I'm pretty sure that I can get all the prizes without touching my banked rings - which is currently just under 19,000.
Is there any reason to get duplicate prizes (if allowed) and not just leave the rings to turn into treats?

Hold on, I was able to collect rings this morning. I was wondering what was going on and figured we not got 1000 per day. I didn't collect 1000 but did as much as possible.

I bought all the prizes this afternoon, hoping the prize pavilion would sparkle or something like the dragonarium - no such luck! If anyone else was holding out similar hopes, tis for naught! However, this has been a great event! Just long. Kinda glad to be done.

Well did. I guess I also got everything I wanted and I'm only saving for duplicates, so I can't complain too much.
I don't really know how much I have banked, but I'm guesstimating 50k.
Now that the last moments of the event are upon us, what shall we see afterward? in the waning days of the ninth month and shortly thereafter, I predict we will see a bit of fun before All Hallow's Eve. By the pricking of my thumbs, something exciting this way comes...
Ok sbf, I have a couple of questions, more to gauge your thoughts and observations.
When you were at BFS, they were ready to launch this event and you were lucky enough to preview the event, as well as to see and hear the developers thoughts and future ideas.
How do you think the event played out versus BFS thoughts and hopes for it? How did the event play out for you, in contrast as to how you thought it would? Did you like the house concept? Do you think it will continue for future events, maybe 3 houses instead of 5 for Halloween or Christmas? Did you think there was enough new content to satisfy more veteran players? I guess it's more of 'now you can talk about it, so what do you want to say'
Last question, have BFS asked for more feedback from the Fan Faire participants since you returned home?

You know, I really thought that a fifth limited dragon would have been released before the end of the event....do you think that it is safe to start spending rings now? *Paranoid*

I was only able to breed Fates and Cerberus, and purchased the rest of the event dragons, except for IB, Hidden Bolt and Stygian. I am not complaining, in the end I still have lots of rings left.
This is my third summer event, and I can honestly say this event trumps the past two events. I am happy and glad that BFS has structured the event this way. As a thank you I spent 9.99 for a basket of rings over the weekend, thinking "man, 3,400 rings only gets me 3/4 of the dragon. It's 10 dollars, and I dont even get the whole dragon...arrghh. Well, it's about the price of a slice of cheese cake from the Cheese Cake Factory. I will just skip dessert."
The first summer event was the Firefly. I remember grinding for Plant dragons, buying and selling Giant Plant Habitat in order to make end meets. There were hiccups, big one! There were complaints, lots!
The second summer event was the Great Dragon Faire. This time less grinding were involved, no buying and selling habitats. We got a Wishing Well. There were hiccups. There were some complaints, not as much. I read an interview on Bryan Mashinter where he mentioned that even w/ one free wish people still complaints.
This year, the Arcane Pentournament, I will just leave it as is...

My herald was a busy dragon these last few weeks. TONS of notifications about twins. Tonight's notification that sweetnjmom's "little man" got a twin Herald was by far the happiest for me A great ending to a very enjoyable event for my family!
