I'm sooo bereft of koalas, no matter what dragon I try for, nada zip zilch nufin' ... purchases only....
Am thinking of organising a march from the whine lounge, and picketing outside Magpac's koala enclosure ..... Seriously Wizards! I clean out my draggies regularly, feed them and sometimes bake them extra treats ( o well, all right, THEY bake them, but I make the treat mix) I oil their scales and trim their claws, change the water for those steaming types ( Bubble I'm looking at you...) clean out the sulphur draggies regularly so the emotional types don't get snotty (Melancholy and Ire you know of which I speak...), sigh. Am at a loss ....AND I've spent RL $$$ too, in fact TWICE as much as I intended due to an iTunes glitch lol....
I think I'll go and join Melancholy actually, and try Gardens non-deadly foxglove whine, um, wine...

You aren't alone. As I mentioned before, it's back-to-back Trees over here. Though I'm kind of puzzled a Kiwi would lack for koalas

I grow Beanstalks in 2 and Blueshrooms in the other 9 (switch to pumpermelons overnight) that plus gifts gives me a decent food return while increasing the bankroll. I don't level many up past 17 and almost all of my rainbows are still at 15.
I have about 20 Rainbow (most are Auora w Double rainbow) 5 Treasure (lots of Platinums) 6 Seasonal (lots of Seasonals)

We have this new dragon called Nightbloom, and its elements are Dark + Plant + Moon.
Is this the beginning of the new breed of Dark dragons you have been teasing us about since your trip to Denver?

If so, how soon will some of the other elements follow?

I was waiting for someone to ask! This one actually still isn't it!! Although while at the Faire, we did discuss the idea of combining never before seen element/type combinations for dragons (I personally want a Dream and Apocalypse), but I'll be teasing before the "dark dragon"(s) hint comes to fruition in game.

Got a Nightbloom on the way via coop, and tomorrow I'll get my free Thicket dragon. Then, once again, my dragonarium will be sparkling! This has been a good mini event

This has been a good event. I breed 2 Nightblooms, purchased the egg after getting a 48 hour on the 3rd try. Have everything I want, except for another island. I'm glad when the events end, but can hardly wait for the next one to start, maybe the dark dragons SBF has been hinting about will come with the winter event. That would be fun.

I do have 11k candy in hand and 20k banked, and only the Theme, Habitat, Lantern, Path and Well (6740 candy) to get, so I'll buy Nightbloom if I don't get it in the next 2 days.

I don't have any good suggestions. Set goals, and basically follow those goals, I suppose.

As you level up, the cost for each of the island also goes up:

Island 15 was 6B, released in Dec/Jan
Island 16 was 8B, released in June
The new island 17 will prob. be around 10B

Hopefully the above will give you an idea, when to expect the next island, and how much to save for.

If you still have your wish, you can use it on island 17, and save the 10B for treats.

Whining for Nightbloom! No luck so far in any spot, although I've still got some time. Haven't spent any event currency so far though so if I need to buy it I can. I'd prefer to breed it though!

I spent 300 gems fast breeding, and finally got it.  

I haven't able to breed any of the current event dragons.  Since I have purchased all new prizes for this event, I plan to use the left over candies for at least 2 of the dragons.

You and me both. My Islands are a mess, storage is jammed, and decorating is out of the question. And that's the most fun part of the game! 

Playing the DragonVale World beta has me thinking that unless BFS changes things dramatically, I will probably not continue with DV World much longer. If you think there isn't enough space in DragonVale, DragonVale World is even worse. If you have max Habitats there is little room for much else. The only decorations that I have purchased are ones that send a witch or wizard into your park with DragonCash. There are loads of fabulous decorations and you can spin them around to view different angles but there is virtually no room to decorate. It seems they are setting up DV World to be a 'jump through the hoops' game constantly prodding you to do this or that. I am frustrated enough with DV and wondering why I am adding to my frustration with DV World.
