Wow! You're the first person I've heard using that phrase since my Daddy died! I use it sometimes, but get blank looks. He used to say it as part of a longer phrase, '"Dear Gussie"......that's all she wrote', and the two halves of the phrase could be used interchangeably with the same meaning. Do you know where it comes from? It always sets me to imagining possible stories......

Knowing you can breed Ghost, Bone, and Nosferatu dragons has probably saved me so much candy. Also, does anyone know the rough amount of candy you can obtain daily before hitting the limit? I already hit it yesterday and it felt like it came sooner than it should have.

1000 plus daily gift, or 2000 plus gift at doubles.

Yesterday was 1000 plus 100 for the tutorial plus 50 from the Hall of Hallows for a total of 1150. 
The 100 + 50 did not count toward your 1000.
Today is doubles, so 2000, plus 25 from the Hall of Hallows for a total of 2025.
If you haven't spent any Candies at the end of today you should have 3175 Candies.

I couldn't resist and bought one of the Garden Pedestals and the Wailing Well. What all have you guys purchased so far? 
I'm saving up 1500 candy to buy a spooky habitat or two  and then I will have unlocked the next set. 

Do anyone of you guys use FB? With the whole GC issue that's a mess, but even if they aren't gem exchange friends, it'll be nice to have some options to choose from for the Mausoleum as well as collect candy from visiting friends.

Could you please update that information post to say what happens to your game centre friends (I have about a 100) if you are on iOS 9 and you bind your park to Facebook?

Plant/Earth would be Garden, Earth/Plant/Cold for Thicket

(or Fire/Earth/Cold for Decay, but I doubt it's that one)

Well, after a two-day almost marathon playing session, the koala gods were kind to me today. Being fairly new to the game, I had none of the dragons in the prize pavilion. Totaled up the candy cost and nearly fainted. 😂😂 today however, the koala gods gave me a bone, a nigtmare and a ghost dragon! Three down, a plethora more to go, lol.

I think I'm in that position onejoebloggs: still ios9, updated DV to current iteration (ooo), and followed the prompts re FB, now  able to collect fb gem rewards and all friends present and correct w names, no personalised icons tho, and only one secret admirer ( olds' nomenclature )
All info given w best intent but no responsibility taken until at least 2 others verify

THANK YOU. My secondary account on my Samsung tablet was having problems connecting to my main iPhone account and this solution cured the problem. Perfect timing, I was worried I wouldn't be able to gift candy corn...

So far I have purchased wailing well, garden pedestal, overgrown path, wisp lantern. Really like that wisp lantern. Very cool. Overgrown path as well.

So far I have purchased wailing well, garden pedestal, overgrown path, wisp lantern. Really like that wisp lantern. Very cool. Overgrown path as well.

I'm saving up for Garden so I can breed it for a Garden Pedestal with Noodles, who never can wait, bless her, and has bought one already. With doubles, I can have it tomorrow. Looking forward to the new Path, too!

I got enough for my first spooky habitat because of the Doubles and it looks really pretty! I am definitely loving everything.
I have about 13 odd dragons to collect and I used murst calculator to check and the amount of candy I need is astounding. xD That's the fun, I suppose.

I have a question, if I use some of my candy to buy things, does the daily limit still apply?

Yes, the daily limit is how much you can collect. There is no limit on how much you can spend.

The daily gifts and purchases don't affect the limit either, which is why we were at 1150 the first day (the 1000+50+100), and 3175 today (1150+2000+the 25 daily gift)

I'm finally going to spend some of my candy on a spooky habitat for when my ghost dragon hatches. And on the overgrown path. I'm more of a saver than a spender, so I'm trying to be careful about how I spend my candy, while at the same time trying to breed as many of the spooky dragons as possible.

I'm really glad that the spooky habitat doesn't count against your max. I keep watching the number of habitats slowly creeping towards the max and thinking that I'd better start saving gems now for when I need to add an extra one. But with the spooky habitat I can collect more dragons and not have to worry about maxing out my limit just yet.

has anyone succesufully bred one of the old dragons yet? my eye is on the bone/ghost/trick/etc so i dont have to buy them and i have more candy for the new dragons
