How did everyone get a free egg?? I got food in both the daily reward spots??? Am I missing something? Also SO OVERWHELMED lol!! Too many choices lol
Did you look in the Chilly Chronograph?
Yep and that is where I got 50 food for day one. Did I miss a day?? I thought it started today at reset... but did it start.Wednesday??? I had to manually go in and update because it didn't automatically do it like every other event....
ok some last questions: Anyone done the maths: Is 139 still the maximum number of iceberries which one can bank on a normal day? Is there expected to be a cap on how much we many iceberries we can cash in during the last extra week (during which we cannot collect berries)? Spreadsheet should be up very soon...
The event help says we have through the 17th to collect, but that we will still have the daily max cap.

Is there special breeding rules for dusk, dawn, midnight, etc? Is there a place to look all these up? I was trying for dusk and dawn, and then thought maybe I had to set to that time of day?

Those of you who purchased the Ornamental habit with gems, thanks to Mr. Bones and Noodles, look in the prizes. I bought it last night, did not count toward habitats and the Artic Market shows I have 2/3. Wow, I could get a fourth. 👍
Sorry, the market showed I didn't own last years dragons, reloaded and the market corrected. No 4th ornamental habitat. Stupid clitch.

I had 2, bought the third yesterday, but mine is showing 3/3
I'll be curious what happens if you try to get #4!
I hope we get to see Santa and Gift Boxes when it's closer to Xmas day.
Iceberry Rush is different, and I like it so far. I tapped w/ all 10 fingers, and was pretending I played the piano.
Lumi states in her 'Earning Iceberries' missive: "Finding and tapping on Gift Boxes or Sandakloz in your park" not... "Finding and tapping on Gift Boxes or Sandakloz in your park but not until the 25th"

I scrolled though the invaluable Bloodstones monthly forecast ( link below) and found near the end where he mentions breeding times of day for certain dragons also lots of helpful BeB notes, and as it says, monthly tips hope this helps! Koala!!

For BEB, I always make a list of which dragons I need. Then I struggle to figure out if it's possible for one combination to breed for all of them at once. If I do that, do y'all suppose there's a smaller chance of getting the ones I need vs. picking one specific dragon to breed for? Of course, odds of getting the ones I need tend to be low already, so perhaps it doesn't really matter? Dragons like double leap year and faire are going to be tough to get no matter what!
I just want to say thank you to all that contribute to these forums. I read them a lot and have learned all kinds of great tips. The banking of event currency being one that really helped me on the halloween event versus the arcane event when I only learned of it near the end. I played many years ago and lost my game when my husband and I tried to link them to gamecenter. I came back to it starting a new game right in the middle of the Arcane Pentournament. I have amassed 200 of the dragons since then with only my son and husband as friends.
This is my first BEB and Winter event. So far I have been lucky. My first dragon to get was double leap year! I also got Iron Blossom and Motley (sure I will be sick of them soon). I have got Aurora and Neoteric on the way on my game and also bred it on my husband's game for him. I sometimes dragonsit when he is busy. My son is getting Emerald, Reindeer, Spectre and Motley. It is a lot of fun playing together and discussing dragons we want and tactics to help each other with the events.
My top dragons that I am hoping to get are Century, Shield and Ire. My husband has Ire and I have tried and tried to get him to no avail. I really want to get Gourd as well. I wish everyone luck in what dragons they are after.
Question - Will the new epic dragons be breedable via coop once someone buys them? I know the hybrids will be like + like only.

If the last week is 7 days, the cap will be 7 x 1000 iceberries a day (Since 1000 seems to be the limit)

So we think we won't be able to bank more than 7000 iceberries... the last time i remember that that happened, BFS changed their minds...

In general it is better to aim specifically for the dragons you want since this should give you the best likelihood of getting a dragon. What you really want for the best likelihood of getting the dragons you want is the smallest AVERAGE time to get all desired dragons.
(What I mean by this is that a lot of people think it is only about the percentage chance of breeding a dragon or about average fail times, but actually it is the product of the two which you really want. For example, if I want the dragon X (which we will say has a breeding time of 1 hour), and I am deciding between combinations 1,2 and 3: Combination 1 only has a 1% chance of getting dragon X, but it also only has an average fail time of 1 hour. Combination 2 has a 10% chance of getting dragon X, but it also has an average fail time of 4 hours. Combination 3 has a 50% chance of getting dragon X, but it also has an average fail time of 100 hours.
It seems that you should use combination three because it has a massive chance of getting dragon X... but actually it takes an average of 100 hours to breed the correct time for the dragon (you should get the dragon once every two attempts, where the first fail time is 100 hours). Combination 1 has an average time of 99 hours to breed the correct time for dragon X, very slightly better. Combination 2, however, has a much smaller average time of breeding the correct time for dragon X, at only 36 hours. Thus it is a mixture of percentage chance and average fail time which should determine what pair you use.)
So if you want to achieve MULTIPLE dragons, like you say, you once again take the average time to get the MULTIPLE dragons. To do this, you just add up the 'average time taken to breed dragon' for all the dragons you want for each combo and then test them out.
Unfortunately we do not know the chances for breeding dragons, and so we currently stick to average fail time to determine which dragon combination to use. MOST of the time, breeding for each dragon specifically yields the best results, rather than finding one combination which can breed for all, since that normally massively decreases the chance of getting all the dragons.
Too long, didn't read... Go for each dragon individually.

Welcome, make yourself at home! Why not make an account here? Glad to hear that you have restarted the game and are enjoying it! Regarding your question, they normally are, I think... but maybe that's changed recently. jv

Please click here to access it. This is a copy of the spreadsheet. If you download it as an excel spreadsheet (away from google sheets/docs/drive), then you can edit it AND you won't need to get internet access to view/edit it either! Can someone please tell me whether this is working fine for them or not? Thanks!
Of course, if you have any issues with it, don't hesitate to ask! If you find any errors with the spreadsheet, again, don't hesitate to ask! Finally, if you have any other features you would like or think would be helpful, don't hesitate to ask (I enjoy doing this stuff!)
Hope this helps,
Koala

Hmmm, I noticed that the new Iceberry meter drained itself to zero without me having to reset my park (by leaving/re-entering). That may mean that the days of extended doubles are behind us...

Why? That's how it always was.
The collection total resetting without requiring a park reload is why the trick works at all.
