So, I was able to get to 2000 eggs on Monday through the exploit. Then when I collected my post-maximum eggs from the 'Chalet of Challenges' and the 'Burcadian Garden' they both banked an extra 1000 eggs. Did anyone one else notice something similar?

I have thoroughly enjoyed this event. I was able to get all the dragons I wanted and still had enough leftover for the Lost Island. Which is a nice little place to put my wishing well.
Now all I have left is to collect the currency I banked. And since I managed to bank close to 5,000 eggs, I spent some of it on the mystery egg and got a Faire dragon.
We share our physical lives with those in spirit. For life, like love, never dies. Love knows no limits, not even death.
Blast. Lucked out (I think) with glowwing x glowwing and a 28 hour (coop) timer, but I *still* won't have enough eggs for the island and Monument. Might've been willing to make up the difference with $ on doubles, but not with regular price.
Ah well, can splurge on other random stuff or just leave it to be harvested into food...
I hope everyone has enjoyed this event. Sadly I haven't been able to post much recently. I was able to get all the Chrysalis dragons this event. I think I was able to breed 3-4 of them through the help of others posting their dragons (MANY MANY THANKS FRIENDS). I got 2 of the Monolith dragons and then went to town breeding and was able to breed all of them from there (just landed Monolith 5 last night based on the timer). All I am missing from the hidden dragons is Tansey. I was able to purchase the Relic of Epics so I can bring my epic dragons to 15.
I am closing in (I think about 12-15 days from my first wish). Right now islands aren't that costly so I don't think that is worth it. Or can you get islands from past events like the olympic island? (that might be worth it since I am not sure when that event will occur to offer the island again). Not sure if getting the Monument of epics that levels epic dragons up past 15 is worth it yet due to the enormous amount of food it requires and I am still busy leveling up epics to 15 and will be doing that for a while. So I am not sure if I will use my wish for that.
I am a little more than halfway through 33 so I have an island to buy at 35 but have more than enough funds for that. I guess I will store my wish for a while if that is an option. If anyone has any good advice on a wish please let me know.
Thanks all and hope everyone had a good easter. This month has been an incredibly rough one on a multitude of levels. I am just trying to remember the helpful motto: That which doesn't kill you, better make you stronger, because it just might come back and try again.
😂😂😂😂 I LOVE THAT MOTTO!!!
motto: That which doesn't kill you, better make you stronger, because it just might come back and try again.
I have just adopted that motto as my own. You could have been speaking right to me with all that you just shared! I truly feel for you and whatever you have or are facing. In my family it seems to be illness and not just you run of the mill. Nooooo it has to be rare, only a few doc's in the world know about. I tease my Husband and children about being alone on my Island of normalcy because all 3 of them have a rare genetic order that affects every system in their bodies but is mostly unstudied as all the concentration is on the heart arrhythmia. Being told that your husband and children are in the 'sudden unexplained death' arrhythmia category was a shock to say the least and it goes on from there. We have learned to laugh at things that often make people look at us weirdly but the worst thing that can happen to you is not death! It is to die without living & loving! Death comes eventually to all and the only thing we can choose is how we are going to live regardless of what life throws our way.
Live life to to the fullest you can! Love people the best that you can! Don't let negative emotions destroy you as hard as that may seem to be to overcome. We are still learning this but life is getting richer all the time as we learn to enjoy the small moments and things in life.🦋
I hope this helps someone because one of my joys in life is to encourage others!🤗🤗

Did better than I expected... managed to breed a Starwing in the CoOp and then a Glowwing by using my Starwing and Chrysalis. So the only thing I didn't get was a Pond pedestal. Not really sure how to do that now... but it's all good. Now I just have to decide if I should get a 2nd Hidden habitat or even bother with the Mystery egg -- or just leave the eggs to get food after the event closes.

Hey there Shanda2lee,
I am truly sorry to hear that your family is going through something so rough. Yes I am going through something similar. I am suffering from a genetic inherited order (that sadly I also passed along to my son). Basically when we get sick our lungs have a allergic reaction that causes us to have our lungs itch which causes us to cough rather violently and uncontrollably for quite some time until the illness passes. The second part of it is that our lungs over time degrade. I am now hitting a ripe age of 48 and my lungs are speeding up their degradation. Thjs month has been a challenge on a variety of levels and most of them not fun. However everyone has their issues and handle it with grace so I am trying to learn how to do that too. Hoping to learn things that help slow it down or assist or anything so that when my son gets to this age or even before he has more options and can handle it better.
Not a negative nelly here. Still enjoying life and want to keep pushing.
The good news is that my lungs only affect me when I breath. I also have faith for my son because science does keep progressing on things.

I received an error trying to complete mine but a fellow Fan Faire winner got the same extra 1000 eggs, same as you. Congrats!

Hi ncdiablosaur,
I am always amazed at how many of us there are out there doing our best to live with or support those who live with rare disorders. My heart goes out to you I know that it is hard enough to deal with these debilitating conditions without watching our children struggle too. I have faith too and sometimes that is all that keeps me going, a hope for the future. I am sorry to hear about all that you are struggling with. You made my teenager laugh (the one with the most serious heart issues) at your talking about it "...only affects me when I breath". She totally understands where you are coming from.
We aren't always good at being positive but we try to pick ourselves up after each setback and fight again.

I had that happen in the last event but I didn't notice if it happened this time.

Wow, it's interesting to see how something as silly as a game can bring people together with such similarities. My husband and daughter are both struggling with disorders that affect their nervous system. My husband didn't start showing symptoms till his late 30's, and he's been tested for everything from MS to ALS to Lyme Disease with no definitive results. We've driven cross-country to Cedar Sinai, flew up to Johns Hopkins, and have spent countless days at the University of Miami Medical Center, only to be told, "we know what's happening to you, but we don't know why, nor to we know how to stop it." And now my teenage daughter is starting to show similar symptoms. No one around us - including our own family - really seems to grasp what it's like, and it's pretty much impossible to explain. So, I guess I'm just trying to say that it's sometimes nice to know I'm not completely alone out here!

I took a chance on the Mystery Egg a couple of times and scored a twin Delight and twin Frostfire. Since I only had one of each, I'll call it a win! It would have been nice to get one of the (many) other dragons that I'm still missing, though...

I actually was really happy with this event! Managed to get all the dragons I wanted except pond. I used some of my banked eggs today to get another mystery and was not pleased haha. Last one was a twin seaweed, yuck. This one was a twin quake. Sigh. Oh well, I will end the event with a whimper

I never expected to find people here that understand this place in life. 🤗😥🤗

Mischief also interrupted, but I got to 1892 before DV hung.
I bought the Mystery Egg which got me Pond. I bought Tulip, Tansy, Cumulus, StoneShell and Plateau. Bred Glowwing and got Starwing for free.
Bought both Hidden Habitats, the Mono Reward Habitat, the Arc de Trieggs, Stone of Enchantment, Transfiguring Tree and Monolith Boost
I've also bought the Plateau, Stoneshell, Starwing, Cumulus and Glowwing Pedestals, after having bred the Pond, Tansy and Tulip ones.
So I should have *everything* with ~3,500 eggs in hand at the end, and rather a lot banked too
I still have to get seconds of Plateau, Stoneshell, Starwing, Cumulus and Glowwing, but I'm hoping that won't take too long after the end of the event, and then I can go back to being BORED again
This may take less time than expected, I've managed to clone Plateau and Cumulus already, now just need StoneShell, Glowwing and Starwing.

To panutzmom and Shanda2lee,
I am sorry that both of you are struggling through this as well. Let me just say. I have adapted something from one of my silly past times (not DV but another silly past time) This is my mantra that I shifted from that in which I collected. Quality over Quantity. I am going to try to make these years filled with more quality and worry less about the quantity. I still have to pay the bills so work is still a must but I am shifting my long term goals into shorter term goals and hoping to enjoy each year for what that year brings (both good and bad).
Please hug your family for me and let them know they aren't alone.

No, you aren't alone.
Though my daughter's aren't facing life threatening illnesses, Aspergers and Autism are still life-changing ones, so I understand a little of your concerns. Years of Occupational Therapy have got Miss 14 to where she can mostly cope with social situations, but Miss 9 is still mostly non-verbal, and has dietary issues, though is generally healthy. I'm not sure she'll ever be able to care for herself.

Hello Magpac,
I hear you and You do understand a lot! My miss 12 has Aspergers and my miss 17 is getting the final testing this summer. We have some concerns about independence for our youngest as well.
Huge HUGS for the life adventure you have.
